"This location has gone severely downhill. My family of 5 has been going here since it opened in Goodyear. It started off as a consistently decent fast-casual place. We were there this past Sunday on 3/17/2024, and the food and service were horrid. - The salsa in the bottles was extremely watered down. I'm talking half water, half salsa. Obviously, this made the salsa less flavorful. Also, trying to scoop the salsa with the flat chips was like trying to scoop up water. - The ground beef was disgustingly greasy. It dripped puddles of oil as we attempted to eat the tacos. The oil was soaked through the entire crunchy taco shells, and our hands were covered in grease after holding them. - I always order a taco salad, which comes with a tostada bowl. This time, my salad came in a soup bowl with no tostada. The portion size of the salad was half what I normally receive. The lettuce had moldy tasting pieces. The dish did not taste fresh. They forgot the dressing. When I asked about the missing tostada shell, the gal who brought the dish to the table just shrugged it off, and said they ran out. I asked her why I wasn't told this when I ordered. She said she didn't know. Zero service recovery. I asked her for dressing, and she said she would bring some over. She forgot about it. The restaurant was nearly empty, so it's not like she was busy. After waiting 5 minutes, I went up and asked for it again. I barely ate a third of this salad. It just wasn't good. It was a very disappointing visit. It was particularly disappointing because it USED to be better. Every item we ordered tasted different and bad. Everything tasted less fresh and not that clean. My guess is they hired new kitchen staff/cooks. We won't be visiting this location again for a while until their reviews show signs of improvement..."

"We’ve eaten here a few times and it seems to get worse each time. Tonight my chicken enchiladas were hard. The cheese was one big clump. It almost looked as if they took old enchiladas, threw some chicken in it and served them up. It takes alot for me to write a review and tonight’s food was just downright nasty."

"We have been going to the Tempe location for years. When we moved from Tempe to Buckeye we were delighted to find out that they had just opened a new Someburros not to far away from us. We have had a great experience every time we have been. We go almost once a month. Each time we go we know its going to be a fulfilling& deliciousdinner. My favorite items are the nacho plate, THE SHREDDED BEEF TACOS, the green chili beef burritos and the Pollo fondito!! The margaritas are great too lol. I love the rice & beans because they are actually delicious compared to some other Mexican restaurants in the area. I highly reccomend and will definitely be returning. I have never had an issue with service. Once I had an issue with them giving me a red deep fried chimichanga when I asked for Christmas and they immediately fixed it. Right in front of me , in less than 30 seconds. It made me so happy that they handled it quickly and efficiently with out an issue. It made me feel warm and fuzzy inside to know they cared enough to fix it immediately. Lol Anyways... go eat there. You won't be disappointed"

"As an Arizona native it's hard to find authentic "Mexican American" food. Some burros did not disappoint me at all. I had the poncho villa which is a red chili burro enchiladas style. I give it a good 8/10. My wife had the pollo fundido, she was very pleased with the flavor."

"The sheer excitement of not driving all the way to South Phoenix for a Pollo Fundido (chimichanga) is what has brought utter joy and great anticipation to have Someburros apart of our community here in Goodyear!! I finally had the privilege to dine in and what an absolute treat it was. The place was not busy on a Thursday for lunch much to my delight. We were greeted kindly and promptly by friendly smiles all around. You walk up to the counter to place your order. I was ready with an appetite and i already knew I would be getting my all time favorite the Pollo Fundido, a Mexican Pizza and a chorizo, egg and potato burrito. The Pollo Fundido did not disappoint as always! The shredded chicken was flavorful and tender! The tortilla, crispy, flaky and topped with the perfect amount of jalapeño cream cheese. The rice was fluffy and seasoned to perfection. I was in Heaven for a bit with every bite! The Mexican Pizza with shredded beef, green chilies and cheese layered over a crispy tortilla (chefs kiss). An added bonus are the self-service fresh teas. I had a few glasses of Hibiscus tea and it is delicious. Someburros is the spot for the best Mexican food!"
