"Nothing says authentic like Fantasticos in Cave Creek AZ. You'd better brush up on your Spanish to place an order. I think that's what makes the food taste so good. It's all about heart and soul when they prepare food. Love the staff and nice old Town feeling. Carne Asada plate, not chopped, ask for whole piece, it's amazing and better flavor."
"Order food on line and paid for it with my debit card. I got a call back a few minutes later telling me they didn't have some of the food items that I had order. I said I understood , but just cancel my order then. They said ok and they were about to hang up when I said wait a minute are you going to refund my card the $32? They said they couldn't over the phone. They said I would have drive all the way down to the store for them to refund my card. I said this is just poor customer service. They didn't care. I will never order food from this place again."
"After hiking in cave creek this is an inexpensive, no frills place to get the best Pollo Fundido I've ever had. This is my favorite dish! We almost always order this dish at a nearby popular restaurant, one day we tried Fantastico on a whim. The other restaurant had a really long wait. Wow! Way cheaper and tastes more authentic. The restaurant itself is nothing special as far as appearance or ambiance, but clean. Staff is mostly Spanish speaking, but that makes it seem more authentic. Great portions. I've been in 4 or 5 times and I've never seen more than 1 other group there. I'd love to spread the word to get this restaurant more business."
"I ordered two chicken enchiladas rice and beans and two over medium eggs on top. Delicious delicious delicious! Kurt knows exactly what he’s doing. Seasoned everything to perfection just the way my mom used to cook. Highly recommend visiting this place for all your Mexican food needs and cravings. I was not impressed with the Horchata. It could be better"
"First time at restaurant. We were super welcomed. I had the 2 Enchiladas plate...EXCELLENT! My husband had the Burrito with Taco and LOVED it, too. Lots of food! We will be back. Great staff. Friendly atmosphere!"
