The Spot at Arcadia

"When I arrived I had to wait to be seated. I choose the bar to be seated. I waited 10 minutes before someone acknowledged me. It was a server that was going by the bar and noticed I had not been served yet. The “trainee” bartender was too busy chatting up the guy next to me to greet me and ask me if I wanted to order. Finally a dude showed up to asked me what I wanted to order. He took my order, served my beer, delivered my food and barely saw him again. The beer was really cold and the wings were good. Then a man turned off my football game because he didn’t think anyone was watching it!!! It was the last 2 minutes of the game!!! WTH he should have asked if anyone was watching! He did turn it back to the game when I said something. When the guy next to me was leaving, he made sure he got the “trainee “ bartender’s WhatsApp number for later. She said very loudly she couldn’t receive tips since she was in training. So after he left, she finally asked me if I wanted another drink! Why couldn’t she have asked me when I first arrived at the bar? Oh she was talking about how she can’t quick shooting tequila. Her NYE resolution is to drink vodka instead of tequila. She only was attentive when the only other customer (a guy) left the bar."

"The service was lacking, to say the least.. The food was just okay, nothing special. This is one of those typical Arcadia/Scottsdale places that are too focused on being “instagrammable” to produce anything of quality. And somehow labeled “a sports bar.” There are so many better spots for you to spend your time and money."

"The ambiance and food are extremely on-par with some of the best restaurants in the area at half the price. Tatum is an amazing Bartender and the drinks are reasonable price. Chelby was incredibly hands-on and made sure we had everything we needed. They have a great event space! Plenty of parking and a great happy hour."

"DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME & MONEY. Nice staff, cool atmosphere, the vibe is cool for drinks and games. The reviews don’t match the quality of the food. Everything was horrible with the exception of the iced water. The cocktail drink was not great at all nor did it match the drink description. The salad was drenched with salad dressing and topped off with a glob of bland hummus. The brussel sprouts were not edible at all. The flavor on all dishes was just awful. This place is bar food for sure. The pizza was undercooked and reheated in a microwaved. Nothing was fresh, aside from the salad. Every dish was overly sauced"
