"Great looking product, but poor customer service. I’ve ordered 3 bumpers total from ADD but I’m done at this point. About the only positive I can say is how well they package their product for shipment. The last bumper I ordered for my TRX was missing hardware essential for the install and it took several weeks to get that sorted. I never once had anyone actually reply to my emails about missing hardware, it just happened to show up one day, and that same time frame my vendor got an email from them (he contacted them separately).. The fitment overall is OK but I feel there’s parts that could definitely be improved on like the sensor brackets they provide. They barely hold the sensors and constantly rotate or break free. Also the wiring harness provided needed to be extended about 5 inches because it was too tight to plug into the main bumper connection. I also have a pro bumper on my Raptor with a rigid light bar that I will be changing to a Baja designs lightbar. I don’t know where the giant assortment of random brackets are that they send with the bumper so I contacted trying to purchase or acquire the Baja designs brackets and I was told by Sam Steinman I need to buy their whole assorted bracket kit if I want them ($75). So now I’ll have damn near 24 pairs of random brackets at the house when I only need one pair. I feel like after spending around $9k in bumpers surely you could sell those to me separate, or even send them out for free. But you gotta milk that cow for all it’s worth, right?!? So yeah, it seems ADD isn’t worried about keeping their customers or at least not worried about keeping them happy. So I’ll be moving to a competitor at this point."
"I see bad reviews about their customer service, they must have took care of that because we had the best customer experience with them. They were responsive on instagram and their live chat right away about stock and shipping times. They came through quick and we got our tire mount on time. Easy to install and looks really good!"
"I want to start with customer service is terrible, in any industry customer service should be as equal as quality. Sam Steinman is absolutely the worst at customer service. I contacted ADD because the wiring harness on my 2023 GMC 2500 HD did not fit the front stealth bumper. I was told I needed to cut open the harness to extend the harness. I proceeded to fully open the harness to find no extra wire. Sam proceeded to tell me I didn’t know what I was talking about, he said he promised there was extra wire. There was none, I had to add wire to the harness to fit the parking sensor locations. Second, I had a question about how the parking sensor retaining grommets did not clip into the bumper properly, he told me to just glue them. I don’t believe this is a proper method, properly need to put some R&D into developing proper accessories for these bumpers. Definitely not worth$5k, material is only about a 1/16 thick, not off-road bumpers."
"From purchase to receipt of my bed rack, my experience with ADD was very poor. Their customer service/sales members are unprofessional, delivery of my purchased item took 4 months and the quality or workmanship was subpar. Six days after receiving my bed rack I discovered rust drain out from two pin holes on incomplete welds. This after they go through "quality control" inspection to check all the welds prior to shipment. I asked a member of their sales team (Cole) what the load specification were for their rack, specifically what the static and dynamic load capacity were, he could not provide dynamic load for their product. This being a bed rack, these specifications are crucial when carrying gear. I only wished that I would have asked these questions prior to purchase, because it would have been a red flag that they are not a serious off road manufacturer. If you dont believe me, just read what their own employees say about the company on Indeed. This is probably why they can not hire good welders and it takes months to produce their orders."
"I originally purchased a bumper from ADD back in 2011 for the truck. The bumper quality was great and I received it in a timely manner. Unfortunately a few months ago I had a car turn in front of me resulting a T-bone collision. The ADD bumper did a fantastic job on saving my truck from major damage. I was concerned after reading reviews about replacing the old bumper with another from ADD. However the new stealth bumper came in two weeks after it was ordered and looks great on my pickup. I will gladly do business again with ADD."
