"After years of driving past a seemingly unremarkable Italian restaurant, curiosity and the consistently packed parking lot finally drew me in. From the exterior, one might not expect much - it doesn't scream modernity or chic dining. Yet, after two years on this side of town, my curiosity won. I decided to step inside, and I'm glad I did. This place debunked all my initial assumptions with its quality and affordability. The red sauce, a critical benchmark for any Italian eatery, was notably hearty. It had a depth of flavor that spoke of careful, slow cooking and a blend of well-chosen herbs and spices. As for the lasagna, it was a delightful surprise. Perfectly layered, with a generous filling and a beautifully melted cheese topping, it was both comforting and satisfying. One might be tempted to judge the book by its cover, especially in this case. The decor, admittedly, could use an update. It carries an air of a bygone era, which might deter some. However, this aspect adds to the charm once you experience the warmth and friendliness that greet you inside. The staff's hospitality made the dining experience even more enjoyable, making it feel like a home away from home. In an age where ambiance often overshadows the essence of dining - the food - this establishment reminds us of the joy of simple, well-cooked meals that don't need to break the bank. The bustling parking lot, it turns out, was a testament to the quality and love put into the food and service here. I walked in with skepticism and walked out with plans to return. This restaurant, with its outdated decor and unassuming facade, hides a culinary heart that beats strongly with the love of Italian cooking. It's a lesson in not judging a book by its cover and a reminder that sometimes, the best meals come from the places you least expect."
"Good food and great service! We were seated in the room off to the side that was decorated for Valentine's Day. The Valentine tree was awesome! My chicken tortellini soup was delicious, as was my lasagne. The hostess and our server, Isaiah, were just great!"
"First of all, I get it . It was the night before Thanksgiving. I typically don't go to restaurants around holidays due to the fact that they usually are slammed. As well, I don't typically write any reviews. However, they only had a few tables that were dining in, relatively slow, and the poor new waitress said they were backed up on to-go orders. Ok, no problem. I ordered a cheese stick app to buy some time for them. After 30 min, I finally was just going to cancel my order and pay for a soda and cocktail and app and go on . I asked for the check , and then the food came out after the waitress went to get the check . The calzone was burned, the ravioli was cold, and sauce was congealed and looked like it had been sitting in the hot window forever. I asked for a to go box for the spaghetti and meatball for my other daughter, who was set on having it , a person came over and asked how everything was, he said they were backed up by to-go ordeds ,I said I get it .I'm in the business as well. I'll just pay for everything and just wanted to leave. I left the calzone and ravioli , uneditable.. Usually, in any hospitality business, you see if you could do anything. However, nothing was said like we are sorry for your inconvenience. Let me take off some of the food from the bill. As well in the industry, we do in-house guests FIRST. Then to-go orders, due to the fact the guests are right there with you. Sorry to say pretty much lost my business and my respect for that restaurant."
"Great Italian food. Ordered bone in wings with honey BBQ sauce (which was amazing), Hawaiian Pizza, and the "Specialty" cheese cake. Everything was very good and our waitress had a positive attitude. Would visit again and highly recommend."
"Our experience was excellent! Our server, James, was very attentive! Wonderful food and great service! The baked lasagna was delicious as well as the canolis! The chef prepared everything with great expertise! We will be back! Thank you for providing such a wonderful experience! And can not forget the bartender, great house wine!"
