"Sean is not the honest guy with values that he pretends to be. I thought he was too, when he convinced me to come work for him. Went down twice for an interview and to see the shop. I had two job offers, but I really wanted to get back in the offroad industry. Sean said that he would match the other offer I had, and we shook hands and set a start date two weeks out so that I could transition out of my other job. Halfway through the two weeks, he TEXTED me to tell me that he "can't hire me at this time." I had already turned down the other company, and my present employer has already moved someone up to learn my job. They initially offered me a good sized pay increase, but I declined because I had made a deal with Sean. I have two days before I'm unemployed. I can't even apply for unemployment while I look for another job because I left my job voluntary. Thanks, Sean. Your word means nothing, your handshake means nothing, and you don't even have enough class to call me. I had to call YOU after you texted me. I'm sure that I dodged a bullet though, because I'd rather see your true colors early on. I wish your employees the best, despite YOUR lack of ethics."
