"This place is the best kept secret! It has THE best sourdough bread around. I consider myself a sourdough bread snob, and this place has beautiful loaves they make fresh daily. You have to get them pretty quickly out of the oven, or they go fast. The bread has a perfect sour taste that a lot of sourdough places lack. The bakers are friendly, and you can tell know what they are doing and put a lot of care into their loaves."
"Amazing quality bread, scones and cookies. The price is excellent, and the quality superior. Thank you for the fresh, wholesome baked goods with clean ingredients. Quality is every bite."
"If you like sourdough Apple Valley Sourdough is the BEST place to get it. If you don’t like sourdough you WILL after trying it here. The best time to go is around 1pm if you want fresh hot loaves before they sell out. They also have flavored whipped butters, sourdough pizza dough, cheesecake bites, cookies, Carrot and German chocolate cakes and slices and ready made sandwiches for lunch. Cheap prices. Closed Sundays and Mondays."
"The inside crumb is perfect and a bit chewy (as it should be). The crust is crisp, but not too thick (as it should be). It has tang, but not too much. Slice it yourself. Eat it with high quality butter. Store it in foil, not plastic. I've been waiting a long time for someone to make bread reminiscent of childhood trips to Fisherman's Wharf. Thank you AVS!!!"
"I loved it. We got a loaf of regular sourdough and a loaf of jalapeno cheese bread too. The regular loaf was still warm and everything. Both together were about 7 dollars. Ill be back here whenever I need a taste of sourdough again. And I'll have to try some of the treats they have in the cabinet."
