"I have had a terrible experience trying to work with Automatic Pool Covers of Spokane (APC). The previous homeowner had APC install a Cover Pools cover in 2007. I have had some issues and was hoping to have the motor and cover inspected (and possibly replace the vinyl). June 2021: I left a message for the company requesting service. 6-29-21: I received a message from Ed stating they are booked out for two weeks. 7-22-21: Having heard nothing more from the company after more than three weeks, I sent another message checking on the status. I received a message from Ed saying they wanted to send out an electronic person to evaluate everything, and that he would try to get him there “next week.” 7-24-21: I received a message from Ed saying that he knows for sure he can’t send out the person Monday or Tuesday (referring to July 26th and 27th). I responded that Thursday (July 29th) would work best for me, and he said he would see what he can do. 8-5-21: With Thursday having come and gone and having heard nothing from Ed, I sent a message stating that I will try to find another service provider. I then called Cover Pools in Utah and received a reference to a different authorized service provider in the Spokane area. For all I know, APC may provide good repair and installation services if you can ever get them to your property, but their customer service level in the area of communication is horrible. They originally stated they were booked out for two weeks, and over five weeks later there is still no commitment for a service technician to respond. I cannot recommend this company for reliable service response."
