"Today, we went in looking for a few specific items to buy. There was a young lady with orange hair there to help us out. She was very sweet, kind and knowledgeable. We were able to find 2 out of the 3 items. She suggested a comparable piece to the one they didn't have. She made some valid points in comparing the 2. We went with her suggestion and couldn't be more pleased. I'm so glad she was there to walk us through the pros and cons then find the exact thing we were hoping for. I wish more customer based stores had employees like this young lady. Will be coming back."
"The staff at this store is awesome! They always do their best to help people out. Every time I have been in they take whatever items they can, and if they can't take something I have, they ask me if I have other items that they can loan on or buy instead. Sometimes when I am there it does get busy but they always get to me as soon as they can. I highly recommend them if you need some quick cash. Ask for Bill or Monica they both rock!"
"I hate to have to leave a review like this, but the experience I just had with an employee at this establishment, was not what I was expecting from this store. I came into the store today, looking to pay off the loan I had taken out, and was met by and employee named Kayla. I had just paid off the interest I had incurred from the past two months and was looking to pay off the rest in order to obtain my laptop. The loan was for $450. Given, I hadn't remembered the correct loan amount and thought it was $400, as this was not the first time I have pawned this particular laptop. I was corrected and pretty much just chalked it up to operator error on my part. No big deal. Well, having just paid off the interest on the loan only a few days ago, I was expecting to pay the principal amount, plus a few days of interest that had incurred over the past five days. So, at this point, I'm expecting to pay somewhere around $460 to obtain my property but was given a completely different number of $540. Now, this did not make sense to me because, going off the 20% interest rate, I did the math of: 10% of $450 was $45, so doubling that would give me a 20% interest rate of $90 a month. With August having 31 days, I divided the $90 by 31 days in the month and came out with a daily rate of $2.90 a day. So, again, having paid off my entire balance on the loan, I just added the five days of interest, which came out to be $14.50 interest, plus the principal balance of $450. So, adding those together, this gives us a total of $464.15 due, in order to get my laptop back into my possession. So, you can see my frustration when I was given a total of $540, being $75.85 over the amount I was expecting. I asked how Kayla obtained this amount, and she told me that I was required to pay for the entire month of interest, rather than the five days that had accrued interest. This was incredibly difficult for me to understand, as I wasn't aware that I could be charged interest for days that my computer was not being held by the store for the loan I took out. I made sure to stay polite with Kayla and simply asked to speak with the manager, Monica, to make sure that the numbers we were looking at were indeed correct. Having asked to speak with Monica, I was met with annoyance and impatience from Kayla, simply because I wanted to double check the numbers. As Kayla walked over to the store manager, whom was barely two feet away, Kayla then said out loud: "Can you please tell him that the numbers are correct. He just doesn't get it." Now, this was not a problem of me "not getting it"... It was me simply asking to make sure that everything was being processed correctly. But, instead, I was met by an impatient employee that had better things to do, rather than help me "get it"... After Monica explained to me that this was indeed how the store operates on their loans, I was baffled, but held a polite composer and thanked Monica for her time in checking the numbers. I needed my computer, so I had no choice but to pay the amount that was demanded. I then thanked the girls for their time and, as I walked towards the door, Monica was nice enough to wish me the same, but Kayla, not only ignored me, but looked at me as though she couldn't get rid of me fast enough. The service I was given by this employee, Kayla, was completely inappropriate. Basically, saying I was too stupid to understand what was going on, then ignored me as I wished her a good day. I do a lot of business with this store, and NEVER have I ever experienced what I did today. Kayla's customer service was incredibly rude and uncalled for. This employee needs to be trained on how to treat customers more politely, as I don't think this store wants to be known as a store that simply wants to make you feel stupid for even questioning their ways. The only reason I gave this store 2 stars was because, the service that Monica provided was helpful and courteous. I still recommend using this stores services, but I do not recommend doing business with Kayla."
