West Valley Medical Center ER

"I was happy & relieved upon arriving @ West Valley! I was greeted promptly and processed in the ER with no wait. I had a "Gout" flare in my ankle and was prescribed Prednisone. The only confusion was the medication amount. I was given my 1st dose @ WV and then picked up my scrip shortly after. What I was told and what was written on the scrip container varied slightly. Other than that, I will be keeping West Valley Medical in my purview when the VA is backed up."

"I’ve had many good experiences at WV when we’ve taken my son into the ED. We’ve been lucky enough to have the same provider who always gives him the best care! However, my visit to the ED was a much different experience. I had a different provider who came in, pushed on my back, told me to take OTC meds and left the room. There were no other questions or treatment suggestions. I was very disappointed in my visit and wish I would have pushed for more. The nurses have always been fantastic though. My stars are based upon an average of our experiences. 5 stars for my sons care and unfortunately, 1 for mine."

"We live in New Plymouth but chose to come to West Valley versus Fruitland. West Valley is wonderful! We were greeted right away, got checked in within 5 minutes and into a room quickly. The nurse was very nice and attentive the entire time I was there. I loved my Dr! He was very thorough and listened to my conundrum, made me feel comfortable each time he came to the room. Each person that came in was very nice, registration, EKG, CT gal. I had a great experience all around!"

"I truly appreciate everything that was done for me, I also want to give kudos to everyone who was involved with my care I enjoyed my short stay, I also appreciate the fact that everyone could laugh and find time to make me feel comfortable at the same time. Thank you for one of the best experience I have ever had in an emergency room, I will not forget how everyone made me feel."

"My care was outstanding from the minute I was wheeled into the ER. I was aware there were needs beyond my own, but the entire staff was quick to respond to my calls and were super friendly and informative. I will repeat the next remark for the hospitalization, but must share it here, also. Entering the West Valley Medical Center is entering an "atmosphere of grace", period!"
