"You won’t find doctors like Dr. Wadud anymore. He takes the time to listen and work through issues, providing you with tools instead of just medication. I’ve known him for more than ten years. He truly cares about his patients. The office is homey."
"my name is Ashkan Alizadeh. if you wanna go listen to lots of repetitive stories about this doctors life, go right ahead and pay $170 for a visit and listen to them. he's so unprofessional and has a snippy know it all attitude. I used to go to his office with my mom to get help, but I have gotten worse listening to his repetitive life stories and he took me off a medication that was actually working for me-such a waist of time. he's not a therapists; he's a psychiatrist, but he likes to talk to people killing time so he could charge more for every 1 hr visit listening to his stories. I've gotten no accolade from this guy what so ever. The metamorphosis that I had with him only led to deterioration. also if you miss an appointment not going to listen to his life stories; he'll charge you $170 that your insurance will not cover. he thinks he's a teacher or something; he gave me a paper that had written "who are your seven traumatize kids?" and I had to remember those 7 kids and every time I went to see him; he would've asked me who my seven traumatize kids were but then when I answered his question; he would do nothing about it and said good job you've remembered lol. Im not kidding. come on this is not a school. highly not recommended. No wonder he's a 2 star doctor."
"Dr. Wadud has been a valuable part of my support system and good health. He is extremely knowledgeable, always positive, and he sincerely cares about his patients. It is rare these days to find a physician who authentically respects his patients by taking the time to comprehensively assess the needs of his clients. He has provided services for my family that are meaningful, and he has empowered us to make the best choices to strengthen our family unit. Dr. Wadud is committed to providing quality care, and his ethics are of the highest standard. In a society where the quality of care for mental health services has greatly declined, Dr. Wadud is an advocate for the mentally ill, and he is devoted to the well-being of his patients. He is kind and compassionate , and I am grateful for his services."
"This guy is a complete and utter quack and quite possibly a psychopath. He has told multiple women I know that they need to stay with their abusers no matter what happens. He is misogynistic and tells women that it is their job to take care of their men, and that abusers only abuse because they are depressed. He says he misses the good old days when he could have someone committed for as long as he wanted and for any reason. He tried to have my friend committed without any valid reason. I could go on and on. Another thing he likes to do is sit there and waste a lot of your time by telling the same few stories over and over again. Suddenly, you've paid $100 to listen to his life story. I myself have only seen him twice, sitting in on my mom's appointments, and during both of those hour-long appointments he told me 3 of the same exact stories. It took up a third of the appointment, (not cheap btw) I couldn't get a word in edgewise and the stories were not even helpful or relevant. His office may be cool but do not go there. He will cause more harm than good, and in the best case scenario you'll only go away disappointed."
"Worse psychiatrist ever. He asked if my father was still living and when I said no, wanted to know how and e what age he died. I told him my father was in the Vietnam war, yet that wasn't good enough for Wadul - he wanted to know exactly * how* my father died. I told him again, my father eas in the war and died im the war. Wadul then started gloating about he got to miss that war since he was in school and that herr he was, alive. I've been under psychiastric/ therapy treatment for as while now and con confidently say this man has no empathy, no compassion, is generally pretty awful (he had prettybizarre questions in general, but that bit about my father was not only highly unprofessional, it was cruel.) He also refused to refill the meds I've been on for years (two antidepressants) As if he felt he could do better, even though I've pretty much tried everything and it took forever to come up with the combo that works best I could go on and on but it would be pointless and anyone interested gets the picture. If you really care about your mental health, avoid at all cost"
