"PJ went above and beyond to make sure that I got a package that was delivered to the correct place as far as what was written on the package but the postmaster at the sending post office made an error. He took up the time to look up my address and reroute the package to me after it had already sat on the wrong porch for over 3 weeks. When I called the Post Office, I was lucky enough to talk to him and he was kind and took the time to hear my story and jogged his memory from the day before. Because of him I was able to get the irreplaceable memory that my cousin had made for me when her dad had passed away. This is not the kind of service you usually find and I think he should be recognized for the man that he is!!"

"The folks are the counter have always greeted me with a smile, answered my questions and helped me. My mail carrier has shown up rain or shine and put my packages on my porch safely and thoughtfully. They have been running in a reduced staff for years and the dedication to their community is honorable."

"During the holiday season patience and a positive attitude go a long way! The customer service was excellent today. The post office opened earlier than normal today to accommodate customers. The clerk today was friendly, thanked me for waiting, and was cheerful. I wish I would have gotten her name, but all the staff was working hard. Thank you for a great start to my day today!"

"On Saturday, July 29th. 2 packages were delivered to our mailbox. Both were placed outside of the mailbox. When I went to pick them up, I found our packages as you see in the attached pictures and video. Whom ever delivered them did not show any care to deliver them up to our doorstep or at least secure them so they wouldn’t get lost over the embankment. This is simply a lack of care and violation of the public trust and just plain wrong. It used to be that working for the post office meant every effort was made to deliver the mail and you knew your mailman. Mistakes were minimal, if they ever happened at all. We have only lived in this area for 2 years and have had more delivery errors and lost packages than ever before. Now, it just seems like they’re just doing the MDR- minimum dairy requirement While I’m sure most mail carriers are trying to do their jobs well, there have been others who just don’t care about doing a good job. I know we live in a rural area and our homes are not the easiest to get to, but that is no excuse to slack off and not do your job because you have to drive off the main road to deliver the mail. Should I have to risk injury or worse to retrieve my packages because of carelessness and poor or lack of training? How would you feel if you came home and found your mail or packages like this? Do better postal service, do better."
