"Not responding to a person struggling that's in need who has asked for help is dismissive at best and cruel at worst. A while ago, I called one of the therapists in this practice and left a voicemail message. No response. I sent an email message. Still, no response. In my email message, I made it very clear that my mental health situation was serious and asked for help. Without any response at all, my emotions descended further, to a place I'd rather they not be. Please be mindful that such disregard could compound someone's suffering and increase their reluctance to seek help. It seems to me that it should be a fundamental principle for therapists to respond in some way to someone asking for their help."

"I missed my appointment today. 25 minutes to get to the west side, couldn't find the building, and called repeatedly for 15 minutes and all I could get was a automated voice. My therapist has recently moved to this location. The company listed in my confirmation message says “Therapeutic Paradigm” however the phone number and address matches Wichita Family Counseling. Now I’ll be charged for missing an appointment. I will not be coming back."
