"I just recently went to see this Dr. He was nearly 45 min late to the appointment. Seemed very rushed and impatient. I was told he was late due to seeing new patient. I understand scheduling is not perfect but the desk could have given me a heads up. He reminded me that the new thing is to go every 2 to 3 years vs annually as I've done for years. He was rude stated spewing statistics on women and cancer screening. Told me he wasn't worried about me and that it was not cost effective for me to go every year and he then said he'd tell me that till he's blue in face but that he'd still see me for visual checks. Needless to say I will be looking for a new Dr. He does not give impression he is really about the patient just worried about money!"

"I agree with a previous review that he’s “all about the money”. I had a high risk pregnancy complication and he was going to be available for my scheduled c-section if necessary. My OB told me he wanted to meet with me so I went for a visit. During my office visit he started off with asking me what I was there for…. He wanted to meet me but couldn’t be bothered to review my chart beforehand. We discussed my risks which were all already conveyed to me by my OB. He listened to my heart and my lungs (why) then ended the visit with, verbatim, “Well I just wanted to introduce myself so you could know a familiar face on surgery day”. Super quick visit, spoke really quickly, and like the other reviewer said, kept looking at his watch. We ended up not needing him for my c-section so he never came to the operating room. A couple weeks later I received a bill for $350. $350!!! To “introduce himself”! He billed the visit as a new patient and that it required Medical decision making of moderate complexity. It was insult to injury during a super stressful pregnancy. I’m not a new patient and I’m not continuing to see you for care. If that’s not a sleazy way to get money then idk what is. I wouldn’t recommend him. He’ll listen to your heart and lungs when it will have no matter in the case at hand just so he can bill you for it. The only familiar faces I need on surgery day are my OB and my husband. I’d rather keep the $350."

"Dr. Uppendahl has been my Dr. Since Dec 2022. I have found him to be awesome! He took the time to explain everything to me,every step of my surgery he explained even gave me notes to refer back to. My treatment he talked about every option and what he thought wld be best.I feel confident I am in good hands and appreciate the concern from his Staff. When I call they contact me back quickly if I have concerns."

"No time for patents all about the money.Does not like dificult questions. No options but the one he wants. Constant looking at his watch talks fast and loud. Be a great car dealer. Then shuffled out the door. I would suggest a different OBGYN."
