"This is the only company I’ve felt so strongly about to leave a review. This is the absolute worst credit union I have ever dealt with. They are extremely difficult to work with or even get the most basic of information. Waiting in call queues and extremely unprofessional call center. Ever since they got bought they have been ever worse! I would not suggest my worst enemy to this horrid, horrid, company. I was on the phone for hours trying to find out information and help about my account after said “we are going to honor our deal…… for one more month” AND I CANT EVEN FIND OUT WHAT ABOUT! Just to call another bank and get more info about the situation within 15 minutes, and it’s not even my bank! Been with them for 6 years and I’m on my last straw. This is not the first time, just the last. I cannot wait to get off work so I close my account with them and be done! If you value mental health, time and want to feel secured in your bank, run away from this place!"

"Bank doesn't understand what a closed account is. Very frustrating and they never respond. I had an account with ICON and not this bank. I exited before the merger. They still report to my credit and say the account is open. It has been years."

It’s nice to see a friendly face and someone that truly cares about the people that come into the branch. I will continue banking with Horizon."

"All the employees I've met were nice to deal with. It's not their fault that their mobile app randomly fails to recognize checks for e-deposit, and its not their fault that the transition from ICON to Horizon was painful and came with a net loss of functionality. I'm leaving HCU for greener pastures."

"The employees cheerfully spent 2 hours helping me consolidate my accounts into an easier grouping. They were all very helpful to me and to each other. They also provided excellent and cheerful assistance to other patrons when they came in, always leaving at least one worker helping me. They even sent me a nice thank you note. In other words they went over and above their call of duty."
