"This review is for Marc Lyons. My first interaction with him was when I spoke at a public NIC meeting. I mentioned how I was almost fired for questioning why we could be in a room with colleagues eating and talking but then needed to mask up once the meal was over. Marc interrupted my comment and said I couldn't make disparaging remarks about people at the college. I was simply telling the board and public what happened. Marc said I violated NIC policy. I later emailed him to ask which policy I had violated. He acknowledged receipt of my email and then never responded with the policy that he indicated. I reached out a few more times. Radio silence. This was a case of a lawyer trying to squelch speech that he did not like while citing some bogus policy that actually doesn't exist. He then went on to prove that his legacy at NIC was simply partisan based as he couldn't even face the board by giving his resignation in person. He then writes letters to the board who he couldn't face in person. Of course, the CDA Press publishes his desperate letter. He quit his job but still wants the spotlight. It's all comical to watch but is very unbecoming of any professional, let alone a lawyer. I hope this type of character flaw doesn't reside with the collogues he has at the firm."
