"This school has brought me such success in life. I am very proud of my education, which was changed from a C to an A+, and am very proud to have been a student here. I am very happy that my band teacher, Mr. Harrison, taught me the skills of the trumpet. I now have a career teaching you students how to play musical instruments. It is all thanks to this school. I am very pleased to say that I have received a Masters Degree in the education program and when my employer asked where I went to high school, I immediately thought of this school. If you are struggling in this school, everything will turn out fine. Just continue working on your grades and they will improve. (And if you play the trumpet, Mr. Harrison does a great job at tutoring.)"
"Being at this school has honestly been amazing. A school is supposed to be a place to learn new ideas. It is supposed to be a place where teachers are passionate about the subjects and hope to give their students that same passion. It is supposed to be a place where students feel safe to share new or rarely touched on subjects and talk about them professionally. These things cause great people like Einstein, Nikola Tesla, and Archimedes. All of these aspects and more are in the great school Coeur d'Alene Charter Academy."
"I was a student at Charter for about a quarter in sixth grade during the 2014-15 school year. Personally, I think the only thing that I did not like about this school was the lack of a special needs program and the school was very unwelcoming for me, a student on the autism spectrum. Although the school had a counselor when I was there (I'm sure it still does), I didn't really feel like I was able to talk to him. My homeroom teacher was not understanding and apparently I wasn't allowed to request to be switched to a different class. However, I adored the academics and how the school doesn't focus on social programs like many public schools do. I dropped out of Charter and plan on finishing school at LCHS. Great school as long as you don't get Mrs. Y. I will not say her full name to protect her privacy. I'm not sure if she's still at the school!"
"As a student in Charter, I find that the requirements and standards are high. And almost mimic that of current day businesses and society. It doesn't accept any foul behavior. Bullying and cheating are almost impossible, and if found punished severely. It's a great school though. Teachers are really nice, and so is the Principle and Vice-principle. Every adult within the school has had first hand experiences with their subjects which makes it even more interesting in class. Also this school has nothing short of humor, classes are very enjoyable, but not off topic. I would really advise any student to go here, if they are willing to get a good strong education, under firm guide-line. I adore Charter."
"We've been at Charter going on 3 years now. What I appreciate the most is the communication between parent and teacher. If there are any issues or my child is struggling or missing an assignment, I am notified immediately via email. The daily announcements to let me know what is going on: sports, awards, school uniforms, events, etc. The principal was very frank and honest at the beginning of this journey, Charter aims to make college easy. In order to do that, Charter will prep our children in all areas of study, time management, team building, and independent work goals. My two sons have excelled and have been pushed into their purpose. I am very pleased with the school, and confirm my selection of Charter for my sons' education."
