"Had lunch. Cheese n Trees was creamy n thick. All 3 sandwiched were very tasty and a good portion of meat in each."
"The Culinary Stone Cafe used to a favorite lunch spot of mine. Today's experience is one for the books, utter and total disappointment, I left in tears. I would not consider myself a regular, but I go often enough to know the menu and have a favorite. I arrived to the newly remodeled TCSC (The Culinary Stone Cafe) about 1:45pm, well past the lunch rush but I was told it would be about 15 minutes as they had some orders to get out. I ordered the Lunch Express as I only had an hour and planned a working lunch. At the register I engaged in some small talk with the cashier, Jessica, paid for my lunch & iced tea and sat down to start working. 20 min later, no food. I went up to the deli case and asked about my order. He assured me it would be out soon, I confirmed it was for Stacey... all good I think just a busy day. 30 min later, no food. This time I went up to Jessica and inquired about my order as it had been 30 minutes. She responded casually and asked the person working the food line to see about my order. The manager immediately came over and refunded my lunch saying, it was "on them" for the long wait. I thanked her and went back to working. She assured me it would be right out... all good I think just a busy day. 45 min later, no food. My time is up and I need to move on with my day and again I asked Jessica and the manager about my food and stated that I now needed it to-go. Jessica responded, "Well you already got refunded so you should just leave." I was shocked, I shook my head and said "Oh!" clearly surprised by the blatant rudeness and utter lack of customer service. I went over and began to pack up my things and Jessica came over and flippantly said, "We are training people and they are scattered back there and honestly they don't even know what you ordered." I did not even respond to her excuse, all I could hear was, "You.should.just.leave." So I did, I left in tears."
"Our first visit and a very fun place to shop and eat. We had sandwiches at the deli. One sandwich is The Soprano and the others is Dom Deluise, made to order and super fresh. Salads looked amazing."
"It's actually a great place...the barista knows her trade well, and the food offerings were quite a surprise for me on my first visit. Staff was friendly and professional...highly recommended. They have many great offerings, but the Capone's Club is simply amazing. Try it. Update: This has become favorite for us. The deli does some of the most amazing sandwiches and more. They have a good selection of wines, and the kitchen implements they have are numerous. I know they do cooking classes (and related topics), and we hope to take one soon. Yet another update: Staffing issues are plaguing so many of our favorite places, and Culinary Stone is no exception... What it means here is that they close the deli at 4pm now. Be sure to arrive before 4 or, like we did a couple times, you'll have to make other dinner plans."
"Great place, fantastic choice of cooking items, really good food and espresso corner, AND great job with masks and social distancing!"
