"I have been very pleased with my experience at Walnut Tower. Saylor, the maintenance staff, and management responds quickly to requests and they keep everyone well informed of any maintenance issues that could affect residents. I have been very impressed with the communication from the office. It shows they care about their residents. They are completing some upgrades and renovations and I am looking forward to the finished product. As with any house or apartment community, things happen and it is how those issues are handled that make all the difference and this staff handles things exceptionally well. I was a little worried that the building might be loud due to being downtown, but I do not regularly hear my neighbors and have lived in buildings where you can hear everything next door. That is not the case here. For me, the place is quiet enough, has everything I need - package room, fitness center, maintenance staff. This is a great place for anyone who wants an affordable but quality home in the downtown area."

"Walnut Tower and the ladies have been great to me! My move in experience last March was great! They were prompt with my lease and addressed all my concerns! They are always quick with maintenance. The “issues” we had this winter were due to the negative temps and no apartment complex downtown was without problems. They were VERY quick with resolutions and kept the residents in the loop. I can’t wait to resign for another year!"

Roaches, illegal fees mid lease with threatening letters, no snow removal during dangerous frigid conditions, shoddy maintenance, dog poop everywhere, lies about common amenities rooms, broken washer and dryers in laundry room, cars broken into, cheap "remodels" of apartments, thin walls (just heard my neighbor sneeze). Nasty attitude from the "ladies" in the leasing office. DO NOT MOVE HERE"

"As an 8 year resident, I love Walnut Tower! Perfect space for walking everywhere downtown (including KC Streetcar on the same block). Power & Light and City Market just a few blocks away. Underground parking and a room with a view that can't be beat other than the roof. In the middle of everything. Chiefs and Royals championship parades, Blue Angels air shows, fireworks, and a solar eclipse are the events I've seen from Walnut Tower. Other than occasional plumbing issues and elevator outages that are fixed promptly, it was my pleasure to love living here for 8 years."
