"Would give zero stars if I could. Office staff was rude. Was referred by my Dr. and it turned out because I was in an accident and sued they would not take me on as a PT. I have dual insurance and pay a lot of money for health insurance. This place had me in tears and very discourage of getting any kind of help for my back. I would recommend not wasting your time or money making an appt at this place."
"I can't get anyone to help me after I had the stimulator implanted. I called and they said I can't be seen even though my insurance paid most of this and I have paid payment every month for a couple of years. The wires moved I guess, I also know the temporary was amazing however the permanent is just no where near as good. In the beginning Dr. Scott and Rhonda were very helpful and attentive, however now I can't get any help! Maybe making this post will help! This is my body that you all put a device in, and now you will not help me! This is wrong very wrong! I'm having issues with the devices and can't seem to get a call back to help me with them. While in the beginning Dr. Scott and Rhonda was very nice and helpful I just can not get help now..maybe a post will get me some!"
"Please find another doctor's office for your back and pain management! From the very beginning, I had to follow up several times just to get an appointment. After visiting with the nurse who saw me, we would determined we needed imaging. I waited two weeks to get a call back to schedule the imaging and no one ever called. Finally, I called and got it scheduled. The imaging ended up taking 2 hours. Most of that's time was spent waiting in the waiting room or in a gown for an imaging professional to show up and do the imaging. After the imaging was finished, I waited another 10 days hoping to get a call back but never did. I called the office again. This time I asked the nurses assistant if they had a procedure in place for calling people back after imaging is completed and she clearly said they did not. I don't understand how an office can function that way. At this point I indicated to them that I would be finding another doctor's office, but would like to pick up a copy of my imaging for the other office. Later that day I received a call indicating that the doctor would like to do an injection. I decided to give them one more chance. The day of the injection I was not informed of any side effects or risks involved, nor the amount of pain that would be involved in receiving the injection. My pain is now worse than when I started. At my follow-up visit, the nurse did not show up for 30 minutes after my appointment time. At this point I decided to walk away. Very little, if anything, about my experience with this office has felt like health care."
"I called and canceled my first appointment due to being very sick and not wanting to spread my illness (I left a message) I've tried to get someone to call me back to reschedule my appointment, or to even speak to a human being. Their recording says not to leave multiple messages or it will delay a call back, I'm sorry but if I've been trying for a month to get through, I feel like it's ok to leave another message! My urologist needs me to see a back specialist before he can proceed with my treatment, even my pcp is having trouble getting me an appointment here! This is crazy! I've read that the Dr I'm supposed to see is good, but who knows if I'll ever find out! My back is killing me, I'm having incontinence at 37 yrs ol. This isn't normal! And neither is not being able to get a doctor's office to call you back for an appointment!"
"Dr Scott is an excellent doctor, knowledgeable and compassionate. The staff at the Pain Center however is the most stunningly incompetent people I have ever encountered. When you call you can never get an actual person. Even if you reach the operator they simply forward you to someone's voicemail. My experience is they only return about half the messages. It took 3 weeks to get an epidural injection AFTER Dr Scott recommended it. They kept blaming "waiting for insurance approval". Insurance approval takes a day at most. Finally had the epidural, they said they would call within 7 to 10 days to followup. They never called, I finally called them after 12 days and yes, had to leave a message. They claim someone would call back within 24 to 48 hours. 4 days later they had still not called, so I left another message. Finally someone called back and in the middle of that conversation the line went dead. I waited for them to call back, which they never did. Called and had to leave another message, and I am still waiting for the return call. People go to Dr Scott because they are in a great deal of pain and you have to deal with incompetence before you can ever see him. The staff does not seem to care in the least that they are dealing with people in pain. If Dr Scott would leave the Pain Center and go to another clinic I wouldn't hesitate to trust him with my care again. But I refuse to deal with the staff at Pain Center and their incompetent and uncaring attitude."
