Leisure Villa 55+ Apartment Community

"My parents were in a horrible position. Kathryn was the most compassionate and caring person I have ever worked with, the front office staff to the guy who helps with maintenance were nothing but wonderful. We needed to secure an apartment as my parents were in the hospital and I living in California had to take care of this it was stressful to say the least. Kathryn made this process easy and the transition was stressless. This complex is wonderful. It feels as though you are in a park. The community is wonderful. Kind, nice and helpful people all around. The price is affordable and it honestly fair. I would recommend this place to anyone who qualifies for a quiet retirement way of living. Thank You Kathryn and the front office staff! You all were my angels in such a time of need. Beyond grateful for all you have done for my family. "My Grandmother lives here and has been living here for years. It has always been a pleasant place to live, the occupants are always friendly and watching out for each other. However, within the last year, they seem to have new property management that seeks to take advantage of the elderly. They introduced higher rent, a 30% increase in 1 year while cutting perks that used to be free. Here are some examples of recently revoked privileges for tenants: 1 No more free car ports 2 No more free wi-fi 3 No more free Cable Television An increase of over 30% in rent in the span of 1 year and they can't afford to assist the senior citizens who live here with these small, helpful benefits?"

"Where do people go to die? Leisure Villa, the end of the road. The apartments themselves have been maintained over the years but the new management is vile. There are elderly people living here that DO NOT welcome new comers and will make sure you understand that you are not welcome. It's odd that a place for seniors has such a toxic environment. The reality is though that this is section eight housing, so poor, old people, waiting to die. If you weren't depressed before you move in, you will be."

"My mom lives here and it is just like a small community, everyone watches out for each other, the grounds are well kept and the manager pleasant and attentive. Need to amend above rating, since this place was taken over by new owners the rent has skyrocketed, the new owners have exploited these seniors who are on fixed incomes, most of the original renters have been forced to move in with family or friends because they cannot afford to stay. Staff very difficult to reach when help is needed. Looking for another place for my mom."
