Hyatt Place Boise/Towne Square

"I was incredibly disappointed with this property. While the front desk service was nice and helpful, the room and housekeeping left much to be desired. I never once received housekeeping while I was there for 4 nights (and after request). The room filled with cigarette smoke from the bathroom fan when not on. When I asked to stay in another room to get away from the cigarette smoke, I was shown rooms that had terrible, musky, and moldy smells I could not stay in for more than 5 minutes. Stay somewhere else. You can get just as cheap prices at better, more modern hotels."

"DO NOT STAY HERE! This establishment charged me $200 for a smoking incidental fee when I DID NOT smoke in their rooms! I called 5x and asked to speak to someone over the course of months since November, no one ever responded or tried to call me back and only just now today in January spoke to someone after I called once again. Sounds very suspicious ignoring your PAYING CUSTOMERS complaints and now that I’ve finally spoke to someone in the accounting they were threatening to change the incidental to “property damage” to fit their accusations when I did no damage! Rude and disgusting behavior!"

"Charged $10/day for parking when they could just build that into the price and give guests cards for their cars. Housekeeping was awful...only cleaned the room once during a 3-night stay. Found stains on a mattress pad and throw pillow. And they started vacuuming outside our room at 7 am. Microwaves in the rooms would be a nice thing to add. It just wasn't as nice as their website describes. Very disappointed and won't stay there again."

"Not a huge fan of paying $10/night to park at a hotel that I'm paying for a room to stay at. Had several issues with the broken toilet, no shampoo in the dispenser, pillows flat like pancakes. The hideaway couch bed was like sleeping on a bunch of river rocks of various sizes. I did bring up issues with the staff, to which they did get certain things taken care of. The location is great, close to a ton of places for shopping and restaurants. The breakfast selection was the best part. Waffles, cold cereals, fruits, yogurts, and a variety of hot breakfasts."

"Overall a nice hotel and clean. Room was well appointed and spacious. Staff were excellent. Only two issues I encountered: 1) Hallways are DARK, especially around elevators where they skipped fixtures. Definitely not a welcome vibe. 2) Breakfast was absolutely atrocious and inedible. Powdery eggs that were still somehow over cooked, and potatoes that tasted like cardboard and had a similar texture. The latter was a true shame for a state who has “famous potatoes” on their license plates."
