"OVERALL: The damaged property makes MORE money after move-out scams $$$$$ more than the RENT they charge $$$. They are 100% FRAUD!!! FAKE-RATINGS: I see the genuine TENANTs are leaving 1-★ denoting 0-★.On the other hand, the upland is making synthetic 5-★ from "local -guide" profiles. DIFFERENT-NAME: The property name was "VISTA HEIGHTS" 5 years ago. To cover their defames, they changed it to "THE UPLAND". However, people never forget the sources of their losses even if they are disguised differently. LAST-WORD: Please save your money and yourself from the stresses by avoiding such properties!"

"I'm not sure if there is anything good to say about these apartments. But look out for the MOLD!!!! They absolutely painted over mold in my unit before I moved in and despite constant cleaning it would not go away after it appeared growing on the windows, the AC, and even walls that were not next to windows, mold is in the Sheetrock. Every window in the complex looks like they have a ton of condensation too so I know this is a problem for multiple tenants. The AC units are also slapped into the wall and caulked in which lets in a ton of air and moisture. The stairs are rusty, the balconies are about to fall off and the building is legitimately falling apart. In my time here the complex switched property management companies twice, I wouldn't be surprised if it is owned by a private equity firm from how much they charge for these boxes. I had to throw away many belongings because of the exposure, and they still had the audacity to charge me more after keeping my deposit. I'm disgusted that they would let another person move into that building, I am heavily debating making a report to the city."

"I have lived in several apartments, and this complex and its respective management team provided the worst experience that I have had throughout my several rentals. I have had ongoing issues with the apartment itself, the management within the complex, and the management's poor practices surrounding finances. The Apartments As others have said, the walls and flooring in these buildings are extremely thin. Noise was a constant issue in my apartment on the first-floor, to the point that I could hear conversations. When noise from tenants, as well as pets, was brought to the attention of management, little was done. Noise in this apartment was worse than any other apartment I've lived in. There are no amenities in this complex. The laundry machines provided in the center of the complex have often been broken. For over a year, two of the four dryers were not functional. Parking is incredibly difficult in the complex. There are not enough spaces for all of the tenants. Spaces are not monitored in any sort of way by management, and there are often extraneous cars parked in the lot. The Management Management will take over half of your security deposit no matter what you do. I left my apartment in a spotless condition, and then found out that every tenant is charged for carpet cleaning as well as general cleaning for the next tenant. In this way, they off-load their business cost to your deposit. Management even said in writing that I left my apartment damage-free, but kept the charge. I have absolutely no trust in the management, and their financial responsibility. This complex is poorly managed, and the management team has little respect for tenants. It was common practice for the complex to send a notification to tenants with 24 hours notice or less that certain parking spaces must be empty for construction, with the threat of towing. For those of us who travel, there was never enough notification to move a car. Work orders were not always addressed in a timely manner. Management mismanages finances often. Rent and utilities are not uploaded to the payment portal on time. There were several instances of management uploading charges a few days or even a week into the month, and then threatening additional charges if they weren't attended to promptly. I absolutely do not recommend this complex for a variety of reasons."
