"Lived in a single room in LLC 2, SO much better than the Tower. Air conditioning for late August is no joke! Upstairs neighbors were loud and obnoxious but that's college for you, the RAs did their best to help with it. The modular furniture is really nice and makes the tiny rooms much more flexible. If you're in a single, I highly recommend bringing some drawers to put under your bed for the extra storage space. A corner room on an upper floor is great for noise, and if you're going to be spending a lot of time in your room, make sure you have a window that isn't north-facing. North windows don't get you any sunlight up here, and mid-schoolyear SAD hits like a truck. There were provided lockers in the kitchen area- though a little too small for my largest high wall skillet, they fit a standard (10-inch, I think) frying pan alright. The kitchen itself was meh, the burners ran really low and the ovens made strange sounds and smells, but the food got cooked eventually. Expect to need to put in a service request or two for clogged drains- they can happen easily, but the nice part is that you don't have to deal with them yourself. The maintenance people tend to be pretty quick to come around. The location couldn't be much better- the corner store, one of the food places (currently a burger place), and the mail room are directly underneath the dorms. Super convenient. The only thing is that the dining hall is over in Wallace, so if you have more meal swipes than dining dollars expect to be walking (or biking) over there a lot."
"Seems like a great place to live as a student! Love the common areas"
"I love these dorms. They're so much better than the others available on campus. I don't think everyone can rent rooms here. They're also a little expensive. Nice green commons in front. Best part - They're literally next door to the massive gym and it's awesome rock climbing wall! The whole campus is walkable. These are nicely situated. Everything is sort of close by!"
"Security. Convenience. Utilities included in the rent. Within walking distance of downtown, several restaurants, and entertainment venues."
"Do not live here unless you want to be woken up by two burley men screaming and banging on your door like they are robbing a bank. Jiggling the lock on your door before you can even get dressed so they can "fix the wifi" in your room. Should of gotten an apartment Meagan"
