"I do not recommend you rent 102 lakeshore ave, Dover, ID from Nori Brixen or Brixen Properties LLC either directly from them or indirectly through Airbnb or VRBO. I rented directly with them and Nori a real estate professional who should be familiar with real estate contracts, wrote a lease which allowed “pets” and up to 10 people in the 5 bedroom home I rented. I got a very aggressive email from Nori 11 days into my month long stay threatening to kick me out for having people and pets in the home which the lease allowed. They told me to pay them more money by end of day for extra cleaning, utilities and pet fee or I must vacate the home by the next day and they will provide a prorated refund. I accepted the prorated refund since I felt uncomfortable with the aggressive email. I was not violating the lease she wrote. Nori then later stated I was not violating the lease and no refund will be given. I ended up leaving early because I felt so uncomfortable with the situation and had to chase Nori to return my $2,000 security deposit. I only stayed 18 of the 29 days I paid for. They ended up claiming that the home needed 17 hours of cleaning because of the extra people in the home and pets, and that the home needed the carpets cleaned. I took extensive video and photo evidence of the condition of the home before and after my stay, and the only thing the home needed was for the clean sheets to be put on the beds. The property manager is their next door neighbor and she is also their cleaning person. She will be looking over your shoulder your entire stay, in fact her home sees right into the kitchen. She locks up the vacuum and other cleaning supplies so that you’re encouraged to use her overpriced cleaning services. I ended up buying a vacuum and other cleaning supplies to keep the home clean. If you rent here know they will find a way to nickel and dime you, they will seriously overcharge you for cleaning and take a large portion of your security deposit. I would recommend you avoid renting this home based on my experience."
