Motel 6 Goodland, KS

"I was there working recently , some of the guests look a little dodgy . The front desk guy was good and efficient . Rooms are clean with fridge but no microwave . The hotel cleaning staff were very friendly but probably somewhere on the spectrum. Top marks for effort though ."

"The Korean man at the desk spent the entire time I spent checking in hitting on me, telling me how much I reminded him of his past loves and how beautiful I was then claimed I was smoking in a nonsmoking room when I don't even smoke. This location must be doing very poorly if they have to steal money from customers in this way. Very disappointed"

"The facility is halfway to my destination so is a good location. I like there's no extra charge for my pet and don't have to leave a deposit I don't get back until the manager checks the room the next day...like at a nearby Motel6. The staff are friendly and the bed is adequate. However, the place is old and worn, particularly evident in the bathroom. The hot water can take a long time to get to the room. During my last stay, I wasted 15 minutes' worth of water but it's happened before so I knew to start the hot water early."

"DO NOT COME HERE Worst experience I've ever had at a hotel. Not even worth saving your money coming here. There was no hot water (during a snow storm/and below freezing temperatures) and we had to find another place to stay, we had booked for 3 nights. We only stayed one night and found another place to stay. When trying to refund the last night we had. We literally argued with the old man at the service desk for about 40 minutes on Christmas Eve. He was hard to understand and I do not believe he could understand us fully well either. After going back and forth, the older man said we would get a call in the morning from the manager. I politely asked what time and he started raising his voice at me telling me they will call when they call and he doesn't know, which we decided to just leave right there to not escalate things anymore. We left extremely frustrated and when leaving the older man slammed the desk in frustration. The next morning on Christmas day, we showed up to get a refund before checkout time at 11 am. The older man was still there and we said we would get another call later today and still was no help at all. It is now the next day and we have received no call from the hotel at all. We paid 200 for 3 nights for 2 guests. Again there was no hot water during a blizzard and the service team was extremely rude and frustrating. NOT WORTH YOUR MONEY TO STAY HERE. Edit: The room was awful too. We had gotten the room with a walk in shower. There was paint peeling off the ceiling. The baseboards are falling off and had mold growing. There was a random stain on the bed. The blankets were extremely thin and we were cold throughout the one night we stayed that. Overall horrible room as well."

"This place was extremely busy due to a event in town. The housekeeping staff was working so hard to get rooms ready and they did a great job. They has a new clerk who went out of her way to it a easy check in. The other staff member was helpful and friendly. Definitely a great place to stay. They care enough to go the extra mile for your comfort.. I'm not sure I could of done that well with the amount of people they were dealing with. But thank you for everything. We enjoyed the treats you had out for all the guests. See you next year"
