Reviews
"Very interesting museum with a comprehensive overview of the region’s history. Definitely worth a visit!"
"Really cool museum with the first patented helicopter. You can press a button to make it spin."
"This museum is really great! They currently have a traveling world war 2 exhibit that talks about several companies pivoting production to support war efforts (coincidently similar to what needed to happen during the onset of covid as well). They’re permanent exhibit has lots of cool things including a moving model of the first helicopter, a model A, and lots of other cool relics from around the area. Definitely recommend if you visit Goodland!"
"A small but well done collection of artifacts related to the settlers days of Kansas, plus exhibits about local history of Goodland... Kids will love the world's first helicopter, a reproduction, whose blades turn when you push the button. Must see if you're driving I-70. #goghgoodland"
"Lots of things to see even in the small space. The staff is nice and museum seems well kept. The visiting exhibit and permanent exhibit was perfect for a 20 minute stop. I'd definitely recommend this place if you're looking for an interesting stop along your I-70 route."
