"Their receptionist is a liar. I researched this office and they came up as affiliated with St. Luke’s hospital system. So I called and SPECIFICALLY asked about this affiliation due to their financial aid program. I told her that my fiancé is dealing with huge cancer and chemotherapy bills and that I simply could not afford to see a doctor unless it would be covered by the St Luke’s program. She assured me it was. So, I walk in there today and they ask for a $250 deposit (i was not told about a deposit on the phone). The woman said she called and left me a voicemail, which I never received. I answer and call back every phone call I get because of the multiple doctors and appointments that I deal with that that are involved with treating my fiancés cancer needs. It’s odd that I some how missed her call and voicemail. She told me that she remembered talking to be, but didn’t remember anything about the St. Luke’s discussion. This part of the phone call was the BIGGEST CONCERN of mine because I do not have insurance and for her to claim she didn’t remember my saying that is nothing but a straight up lie. The experience ended up feeling underhanded and they fleeced me for $250 for a 15 minute appointment. It’s nice to know I don’t have skin cancer, but I was lied to and that is just bad business practice and malicious human behavior. I feel taken advantage of and their complete lack of taking responsibility for the information I was given is simply BS and heartless. Then again, anyone who walks through the door of a doctor’s office is just a number, not a person. The doctors were fine."
