"Sharina and Haylee helped support my husband and I with welcoming our first child in June 2023. We had to pivot 180 degrees from our birth plan (which they helped us prepare for) due to a breach baby. Haylee was there supporting us at the ECV appt, the scheduled cesarean and recovery and came to our home during the first week and watched baby while we napped. We so appreciated the support and expertise as we navigated all sorts of unknowns as new parents. We are looking forward to working with them again as our family grows. -Michaela & Scott"

"I wish I had words to describe how happy my husband and I were with the amazing team at Boise Birth Village. Both Haylee and Sharina are very knowledgeable, warm, and truly become your friend and biggest cheerleaders during this process. We had complications with our birth towards the end and our whole birth plan was flipped sideways. It truly was a mess. I don’t think I would’ve been able to do it without Sharina. She helped guide me and my husband and was our voice when we felt defeated, scared, and exhausted. Sharina also works at Family Seasons and does Cranial Sacral therapy. It was a fun little perk of knowing this. Little did we know, God knew she needed to be my doula because our sweet boy came into this world with severe ties. He had such struggle with feeding. Her knowledge and experience of that helped us go in the right direction to get help for our son. I can’t thank these ladies enough for what they’ve helped us with. My husband in the beginning said “alright I guess” to the idea of a doula when we first started. When we finished our experience he was a firm believer in the power of having a strong birth team to help you. I hope that we are blessed with more babies and can hire them again. We love Sharina and Haylee and can’t thank them enough."

"Haylee and Sharina are literal angels. My husband and I were nervous because I had a complicated pregnancy, and they were always there to answer any and all our questions, which gave us so much peace. I gave birth to our baby girl 8 months ago and Haylee attended my birth and guided me through labor and delivery. Because this was my first experience in childbirth, I was scared, but she was there to calm me and assure me that I could do it! I honestly couldn’t have done it without her. It was such a beautiful birthing experience, that I want to do it over and over again :) Sharina was my lactation consultant and helped me so much with learning how to breastfeed! I highly recommend these two if you are pregnant or postpartum!!"

"Sharina is so amazing! She helped us so much through a tough emergency C-section. It was one of the scariest moments of our lives and her support was essential. She has taught us so much with her postpartum visits as well. I can't thank her enough for her knowledge and support. I knew nothing about doulas until a friend encouraged me to get one and it was the best decision we made for ourselves. Sharina is the best!"

"Gosh... I don't even know where to begin with how incredibly thankful I am to have had the support from Sharina and Haylee! In summary: If you are pregnant, you need a Sharina and Haylee in your life!! No matter where you give birth they will be by your side! From our first meeting we knew we wanted them to help support us! They answered a million questions for us and some of them being questions we didn't even know we had! My husband's and I's favorite meeting was the birth prep one where we practiced different positions for labor and kinda ran through some different options just to feel them out so they weren't so foreign during labor !! When our labor was taking longer then we all anticipated both Sharina and Haylee were in constant communication. Offering position suggestions and reminding us to rest and hydrate. When we needed extra physical support Sharina was right by our side and stayed with is when we made the decision to transfer to the hospital after 48 hours of laboring at home for some much needed rest!! We hadn't really planned on a hospital birth or even one with an epidural. And Sharina helped ease my worries and answered all my questions along the way! Offering great positions to labor from. Helped explain what pushing would look like with an epidural and offered amazing support the whole time I pushed! Seriously could have ended up being a way more scary and longer labor without the amazing support from Boise Birth Village! Not only does the support happen before and during labor but even extends to after you are home! 10/10 cannot recommend them enough! And will definitely be using them again for future births!!!"
