"Called ahead on New Years Day and was advised by very nice receptionist (Gail) that there was only one other patient there so I headed over. Got there and same receptionist checked me in quickly and got me into a room. Nurse Karyn, and PA Jenny, were both really great and listened to the description of symptoms before prescribing meds. They even told me which pharmacies were open (it was a holiday). Lobby clean, easy parking, and overall very happy with my experience there. So happy to have a St. Al's in Kuna ;0)"
"My experience with the St Als clinic here in Kuna has been remarkable. I've been there twice. The first was 18 months ago for a nasty finger injury for which I received urgent care with stitches; the attention I received was prompt, caring and comprehensive (one on one) and I was well taken care of without much delay. The second was this week; my issue was identified and reported back to me within hours of my test, and I was provided a complete summary of the results online, messaged by the physician and RPN, and a prescription was already setup for me when I received the results. I received a follow up call this morning to explain my next steps and future appointment to see the physician, and the caller was patient and attentive and answered my few questions in a knowledgeable way. The front office staff is expedient, friendly, attentive and the RPN and Doc are quick on their feet and extremely knowledgeable. This clinic is an asset to our community, and I personally am thankful I have somewhere local to seek treatment in the future should I need it."
"This review is related to an experience my senior father had. He was feeling rundown and crummy so he went for a C-19 test and they said he would be notified in 24 hours of the result. He waited as he got worse and worse and never was notified of his test result. 7 days later he finally felt well enough to drive to the office and see about his test results - it was POSITIVE. WHY DIDN'T A DOCTOR OR NURSE CALL HIM TO NOTIFY HIM ESPECIALLY SINCE THE REST OF US WERE THEN EXPOSED. It would have taken someone 2 minutes to make a call. I will be sure he doesn't return to this location and I certainly won't be going myself."
"My son split his eye open, and we received top notch care from the PA @ the time, her name was Erin. She was hands down amazing, and is probably the best PA in the valley. I'll say it again, she is a 5 star PA and is incredibly competent. That being said, when we came back to remove the stitches she so adroitly fastened, we were put in the waiting room and treated like 2nd class citizens by the day staff. We were skipped no less than 3 times, with what were definitely not urgent cases. My son's eye was hands down the most relevant thing in the room. Finally we just decided to leave. I'll remove the stitches myself. I tried to call back to schedule an appointment which was possible through the family practitioner side, but not with urgent care. The nurse at the time told me over the phone, that she didn't recall anyone in her waiting room that long, when she knew full well I was sitting there, and being skipped. That self serving attitude was probably the worst customer service I've seen in some time. There wasn't a sorry, there wasn't an explanation, just, oh I didn't see you, did you check in? Which of course I did! The stinker here is I wanted Erin again but she is like a magical unicorn, you can't schedule an appointment with her. You have to role the dice, or schedule it with one of the lesser doctors. I'm giving this clinic a one star. It would be a 0, but they do get Erin rotating in visits every now and again and if you're lucky you'll get her!"
"I just wanted to share my amazing experience with Doctor Parkinson at the Saint Al’s clinic by Walgreens. Today I was scheduled to take my newborn baby to her first appointment. I got there and got checked in, and the guy at the desk and I were having trouble figuring out some things with my insurance. They couldn’t find her in the system, so he said we’d probably get a pretty big bill in the mail and to not worry about it because we could just call and talk to the insurance about it and they’d fix it. I was feeling really uneasy about that, because I was worried maybe they wouldn’t cover it and there would be the chance we’d get stuck with a bill we couldn’t pay. When the nurse came and got me and we went back, I told her the situation and said I felt really bad, but I might need to reschedule for a day that we have our insurance figured out. She was completely understanding and sweet about it, and walked me back up front. As I was headed back out to the car, she ran out and told me she just talked to Doctor Parkinson, and he wanted me to come back and he would check her and weigh her just to make sure she’s doing okay free of charge. We went back, and it was the first time I had met him, but he treated me like I was a friend of his. He could sense that I was frazzled and overwhelmed, and obviously a very much first time parent. He was incredibly kind and asked how I was recovering and if I had help at home. He checked my baby and gave me peace of mind. He told me he has 5 kids and understands the stress I’m feeling. At the end of the appointment, he walked my baby and I back outside and carried my diaper bag and car seat for me. I got in the car with tears in my eyes and felt so grateful that he was willing to do something so good for me, so I won’t be paranoid for another week until I could get into another appointment. We will definitely be seeing him for all of our pediatrics and family visits from now on, and I 100% recommend him. Thank you so much Doctor Parkinson for being such a kind human! My husband and I appreciate you."
