"The front staff for Urgent Care are very unprofessional. I went in asking on how to get my personal records and they gave me a medial record release form that I signed and she said I would get a call back when I could pick them up. A week went by I called back wondering what the status was and the first girl I talked to could not find my paperwork that I filled out so I kindly asked her if I could be transferred to someone else to see if they could help me. The second girl I was transferred to was VERY unprofessional from the start. She chuckled at the serious questions that I had. I too work at a clinic as a front desk receptionist and know how challenging it could get but one thing you should know how to do at the very least is be professional and answer any questions the patient may have in a nice kindly matter. If you don’t have an answer ask someone higher up who could help you. She giggled and talked to me as if im less than her. If I could give 0 starts that’s what I would do."
"I have had a lot of bad experiences with offices as well as doctors...I've been pushed to the side regarding my issues and no one has ever sat down to come to a solution with me. That is until I met Dr. Adams. Dr. Tracy Adams has absolutely exceeded my expectations. By far one of the most caring doctors I have ever seen. He listens and takes every word you Say into Consideration. He thinks everything through and doesn't stop! I use the MyChart tool through St Al's. There you can see your lab results, upcoming appointments, prescription list and many other options. Another including messaging your doctor. I had messaged Dr. Adams through this tool and he not only responded but addressed the issue and helped resolve it as well. All without having to make an appointment, wait, and THEN fix the problem. He is such a considerate doctor that I am beyond thankful for. I've only been a new patient of his for a couple of months but I have no desire to look elsewhere. I would also highly recommend him to anyone who is in search of a new primary care physician! Not only is Dr. Adams amazing but the office and the folks at the front desk are very helpful and very informative. I've never waited more than 10 minutes to be called back for my appointments, and I show up 15 minutes early. The nurses I've encountered are very friendly as well. 10/10 recommend!"
"I had appointments for 2 of kids ages 16 & 15. I checked the 16 year old in at 4:15 for his 4:30 appointment and ran to pick up my 15 year old. Because they a minors they couldn't take the 16 year old back until I got back to the office. I got back at 4:36 to check in my second kid and was told they could only see one of my kids at that time because it was past the 4:30 appt. And the next appt was for 4:45. I told them I'd go ahead and do one and then was told after all the back and forth calls between the front desk and the nurse that the doctor wouldn't see either of my kids. This place is horrible at accommodating parents. And if it really was Dr. Thompson who said he wouldn't even see one of my kids than shame on him. I had already checked one in there is absolutely no reason one could not have been seen. I guess it's time to look for a new provider!"
"Literally the worst place ever. Dr Gardner was my primary physician. I choose him because I had a good experience with him many years in the past, but the care and treatment had gone down quite considerable since. On my first and only vist with him, he sat in the room with me for 10 min. Typing up information on his computer from his LAST patient! And, he misdiagnose my gallbladder issue, he also tried to give me this horrible medication that had nothing to do with what I was going through. Also, because I was "stuck," and didnt have another physician, when other medical issue arose, I had no choice but to go there. You, can never see your primary physician, but whomever is avail. You also have to fill out new paperwork each time you see a new doctor at their clinic, which is annoying. Why wouldn't they have your information already since it's the same place? . I was ok with not seeing dr gardner, and saw a wonderful resident, the second time. Dr. Megan sandman. Then, my third visit...I saw dr Pamela Anderson. She was the worst, most uncaring person and dr.. I went in as a follow up to several blood clots in my legs. During my visit she did not address any of my concerns, and when I told her I was having heavy menstrual bleeding due to the medication, she completely dismissed it and chocked it up to my age. She then suggested I take birth control to control the bleeding. Apparently, she wasnt aware birthcontrol can cause clotting. . Not very well educated for a doctor. She also gave me a lecture about how when I called in when that was happening, how I should have known to seek urgent care. this was her excuse for no one returning my calls when I didnt know what to do, that and they were just too busy. She then stated she already spent too much time with me as I was only slotted for 20 min. And rushed me out the door. I have no idea what I even paid her for. I would have been better off skipping that appt all together since I got nothing out of it. Since then I have found wonderful, caring, doctors to take over my care at St.Lukes. its nice to be able to see the same doctor every time, and who will call you back and be there in an urgent matter, who you can trust to be educated on things like what your meds should not be taken with. Also st Luke's has every appt I've been to, every diagnoses, every medication already in their system for every doctor and service preformed at any st Luke's, so no need to fill out paperwork each time. I will never be going anywhere near a st Al's clinic or hospital again."
"Started off promising, have had chronic pain in my face (TN) for the last three years. Moved here, tried out St Alphonsus because I had a particularly bad attack(11/10). Saw Dr Baldwin seemed nice and caring enough. Called his office with a question about my prescriptions, left a message with his nurse. 30 hours later I'm still in excruciating pain and haven't received a callback. So now I get to spend my weekend in pain. Maybe they're just too busy for patients like me. Had better luck with promptness and getting calls back from the Urgent Care clinic."
