Gritman Medical Center: Moscow Family Medicine Downtown

"This is the most difficult office to schedule with I have EVER experienced. I am a current patient at the Potlatch clinic, and since the email form wouldn't go through I was told I could stop by POTLATCH to pick up NP FORMS.. unless I would like for them to mail the information. Since their first available is apparently sometime in February I determined that if I am going to jump through DUPLICATE HOOPS to schedule I would just go somewhere other than a GRITMAN facility!"

"I’ve always had issues with doctors and medical offices and surprise surprise this was no different. Let’s start with the usual not answering the phone or dropping the call as well as it being nearly impossible to setup an appointment. They claimed to not have record of me despite being in many times on the same name and information. Then one time I go in to have some blood work done and Dr. Schmidt was an absolute creep. He asked me about my sexuality despite that having nothing to do with my visit and it was clear he was fishing for something more. Not to mention throughout our whole conversation he spoke down to me and in a condescending manner. Things like, “Did you know that? Did you?” After giving information like, “This is how bacteria works.” Yeah I don’t need a PhD to know how bacteria works. Things I had researched extensively he denied and disagreed with. He asked, “Did you know that?” In his soft and feminine voice probably 30 times or more to try and one-up me in every sentence like the insecure and fragile creep he is. He offered to inspect my genitalia despite that having nothing to do with my visit. I never asked for that, he openly offered. He’s lucky I was tired and exhausted that day and told him to leave it instead of having a physical confrontation because that would have ended poorly for him. If I see him again it won’t be pleasant. They referred me to the hospital across the street at one point in which the charges for my X-rays were never sent to me and 625.25-ish dollars were sent to collections without ANY notification of said charges. No physical mail and no email I could find. The ladies that have helped me there prior were very sweet and lovely so I have no doubt there are good people there, but they work for a scummy corporation that will take advantage of you as soon as they’re able. Do NOT go here. Just make an appointment in Coeur D’Alene or something for anything serious. If this review is taken down, I’ll press the situation to the best of my abilities. I’m sure there are plenty of organizations that would LOVE to know this information. My only concern is how many other young people they’ve taken advantage of in a small college town like Moscow. The cherry on top of this all you’re wondering? They just sent me a birthday card. Talk about a slap in the face."

"I received care here during my last trimester of pregnancy and for follow up care, and my daughter was also seen here until we moved out of town. The doctors and nurses here are excellent, kind and compassionate - I would have absolutely continued being a patient here, and would definitely recommend."

"I travel from Lewiston just to go here for Dr Dudley. She the best doctor i’ve had since i’ve been on my own as a young adult. She handles mental health issues like a pro and always listens to my concerns and makes me feel safe and unashamed. Most attentive and supportive doc i’ve had, she takes all of my concerns seriously."

"My Dr. here is great and I hate to leave them, but this must be the most poorly run medical office in the universe. It is virtually impossible to schedule an appointment with your provider either because you are left on hold indefinitely or because they are booked through the next century. Referrals take forever. It is sad to watch this office implode. Whoever is in charge should be fired immediately."
