"The hotel is clean and convenient to downtown for walking to restaurants, bars and stores. Parking is also handy and at $15/day standard for the area. The issue is the hotel sits in a median between the two branches of the major thoroughfare through Boise. It is noisy. The soundproofing isn’t up to the environment. In my 4th floor room I could hear people talking on the sidewalk below. If you are a light sleeper this is not the hotel for you, or for me."
"The hotel is on the highway and has very little sound blocking. Our room didn't get cleaned, but we were in and out that day, so we popped into lobby early afternoon and asked if someone could clean it because we were out of towels, etc. Got back in the evening and a stack of towels were thrown on the bathroom counter and the trash was taken out. No coffee replenishment. No bed made, etc. Had to go down and get coffee pods from the front desk (no free coffee in lobby) and were told they were sorry but there were some sort of sports teams staying there and they took priority. I guess they must have paid more than us??? Next morning realized we didn't have coffee cups so that was less than ideal. Functioning without coffee is rough for both my husband and I. The next day our room was cleaned appropriately, but unfortunately in the wee hours of the morning, I felt ill and had to use the restroom and be sick only to find out we were out of toilet paper. No rolls left as backups. We had ONE facial tissue. The next time I woke up, I ran downstairs to the pool area to use those bathrooms because our toilet plugged, maybe because of the single facial tissue? That was a miserable night AND miserable warning. We did not feel valued as customers and will not be back to stay at this hotel."
"The front desk receptionist was very nice and friendly. Our room was very nice and clean. My husband and I decided to go down to the pool/ hot tub about 8 PM. There was a father and a toddler in there jumping in and out. As we sat in there for only about 10 minutes, 3 more kids came along with their mom. Hot tub is not meant for children to “ swim “ around in. We decided to get out after 20 mins because it was never a “ relaxing “ time like we wanted it to be. Came back to our room and were disappointed. Woke up the next day to inconsiderate people screaming and running down the halls. For the price of this hotel you would think there would be more class.the room we stayed in was very noise and could hear constant construction. Won’t be staying here again"
"I don’t post much reviews, but I felt compelled, at least, to share this review for my fed colleagues. Overall, a decent hotel- clean, friendly front desk and restaurant servers. However, in all my experience with hundreds of Hilton brand hotels, this hotel is the least accommodating for government employees/contractors requiring receipts for balance sheet. I had an extra charge(their mistake) after my checkout and the GM finally fixed the issue after two weeks of playing phone tag. That’s fine, but what really bothered me more was her rude and unsympathetic attitude. She sounded irritated I was chasing a refund for a couple dollars, but all feds know that even a penny off is still a discrepancy in our balance sheet. How can we work with a hotel unwilling to make these simple accommodations for government stays? Did the GM change?Because it wasn’t like this before. Sorry to say she just lost a large base who frequent this hotel. To all Fed and State contractors, there’s a brand new Residence Inn Boise Downtown and a Hampton Inn down the street with better prices and accommodations for government workers. No hwy noise like this location, and plenty of restaurants and markets nearby. It’s also listed as a preferred hotel in our portals."
"Nice rooms, fair price, great location with short walks to downtown Boise. Everything was nice and well taken care of. All of the staff were friendly and helpful with smiling faces. Rooms / lobby / amenities were great and we had no complaints. NOTE: Parking garage right next to the hotel is $15 per night, and there is really no other good parking options, so plan this into your budget…"
