"I have been going to The Coeur d'Alene Big Smoke for many Moons since moving my family to the CdA area roughly 25 years ago. They have an awesome selection of tobacco and vape products, real reasonable prices on loose pipe tobacco in a variety of sizes, brands, etc.. As well as portable cigarette rolling machines and tubes for folks like me who are looking to 'make' their own cigarettes to save on the cost! I believe the primary reason I keep coming back to this particular Smoke shop, is the fantastic people who work for this fine establishment; the majority of their regular staff are great! Seeing (mostly) the same friendly faces year after year, tells me the owners of this local franchise are doing more than the 'average' smoke shop to retain their hardworking valuable customer service expert team members. Thank you!! ***Updated on 16 January 2024*** Keep an eye out when purchasing tobacco/other misc items from this particular stores 50% Off bin that's displayed near back register! On two separate occasions, one this morning, and one last weekday afternoon; of course whilst I was distracted and in a hurry, thus NOT paying close attention; I added a tobacco product from the aforementioned 50% bin to my usual pack of smokes. I didn't notice until I was on the road back home, whenever my debit card notified me of the purchase, that I was charged The FULL PRICE instead of receiving the advertised 50% off! Keep in mind that I didn't purchase this item thrown randomly in this bin by some inconsiderate customer; the item I selected was one of several in a stack. Anyways, I did try to phone Big Smoke to innquire as to what I could do later on today to remedy this issue, but alas, NOBODY answered their business phone after approximately 20 rings.... No voicemail options either. Also keep in mind that due to the time of day and inclement cold weather or whatever reason; this store WASN'T BUSY at all 20 minutes ago. So, since I'm currently running important errands in my neighborhood and beyond; I will have to plan on making a special trip back to Big Smoke to see about getting the approximately $5.69 refunded to my debit card. For a person like me who's on a very tight & fixed income; the added cost of gas, time & overall inconvenience of going back to this store is really stressful. I let the first time this occured here (last weekday afternoon) slide-it wasn't worth the time etc and MYSELF BAD got nothing keeping hypervigilant whilst cashier rings me up! But this time, and The fact that it was 5 bucks versus a dollar last week; makes me very motivated to speak with their manager. We'll see"
