"Always Love This Park!!!"
"This is the closest park to my house, so naturally I take my kids there often. There are a descent number of slides, swings, tunnels, monkey bars and other fun things. There is enough space for a game of soccer and other games. It's great not only for kids, but for taking walks for you and your dog. The parking space is limited but is rarely filled to capacity except if there's an event. The play ground isn't completely sheltered when it gets hot but there are plenty of trees around plus a picnic area with plenty of benches."
"I've been visiting Catalpa Park since 1997. We bought over in the Castle Hills area, but this was always the better park. It's always clean and enjoyable. In the summer time it's our "lunch spot" when we go out to lunch. The kids LOVE this park."
"Catalpa Park is a great day getaway for the whole family. It has an excellent playground for the littles, tennis courts basketball court, horseshoe pits, volleyball sand pit and plenty of shade. We love to bring our grill and BBQ."
"There is paved parking, a restroom, Horseshoe pits, a public art installation and a great big toy. The big toy was missing a connective tunnel between two pieces of the toy, it's blocked off by plywood and that makes the flow of play a tad awkward. There is a sweet stand alone firetruck and swings."
