"I will not share all of what happened with this agency only to say that I STRONGLY recommend that you do your research before using this agency. If you need home owners insurance just be very careful who you choose to provide your coverage. We were assigned to an Idaho based insurance company through this brokerage and have been forced to live with a plastic roof, bare studs, plywood walls and no roof or inside insulation and no possibility of repairs due to our dishonest and horrible coverage we were "given" by this agency. When we complained our agent from this agency promised to help but never called back and has left us hanging for going on 9 months through one of the coldest winters and hottest summers in recent years. Just be extremely cautious and ensure you will have coverage that will actually cover you should a disaster affect you like it did us. My opinion is just that my own but knowing what i know now i would never have let our finance company choose or home owners insurance company and you should be your best advocate and shop around and find the best fit for your needs. Paying for insurance should provide coverage and no one should live the way we've been forced to live for this long."
"Years ago I acquired auto insurance with David W***** of Jim Waters insurance. At the time my car's value was insignificant, so I had only liability. In 2015, I bought a brand new car without financing it. Upon purchase of my new car, I emailed David to have my new car properly insured. In August 2017 I hit a deer coming home from Redfish Lake. After going to the emergency room I called ****** to report the accident. I was notified a day later that my claim was denied because I did not have comprehensive and collision coverage. This was devastating news as I was relying upon David's expertise and guidance in regards to properly insuring my vehicle. As my insurance agent, he had a duty to advise me as to the types of coverage available and appropriate for my vehicle including collision and comprehensive coverage which would have been standard, customary and appropriate for a brand new car such as mine. In fact, it would have been highly unusual not to obtain such coverage on a new vehicle. Furthermore, when I brought this to his attention and demanded the name of his errors & omissions insurance provider, he refused me the information and began asking questions appropriate for the adjuster and not a broker. He never expressed any empathy for my situation, nor sympathy or concern for my well being after such a traumatic accident. I was finally able to reach someone at ******'s Presidential office who has put me in contact with a lawyer from the errors & omissions provider and we are working toward a resolution. Previous to this encounter David allowed my coverage to lapse, causing my license to be suspended. Upon notifying him of this, he dealt with this by paying my reinstatement and did so in a timely manner. I was pleased with his service until this."
"Not a good experience at all. Everything was all hunky dory for 6 years. No question asked or problems. Then we have a tough winter, I decided to make a claim for a little help, didn't want them to cover everything but maybe a little, then they canceled the coverage. Now have to find new insurance company. Point being, paid thousands of dollars for coverage and get nothing in return. Would question having them as your insurance. Be warned."
