"TL;DR: AMAZING EXPERIENCE AT TREASURE VALLEY SUBARU! Incredible folks to help in sales, finance, parts and service. And the one week call back for a full introduction to your Subaru and its features... Chefs kiss. BUY YOUR NEXT CAR AT TREASURE VALLEY SUBARU! I had a major cascading mechanical failure at 72,000 miles in my Ford Explorer Sport that would have run me $12,000 to repair. A late evening call to a trusted contact put me in touch with Mark Barcellos at Treasure Valley Subaru (TVS). I let him know of my situation and we set up a time to meet and discuss my options the following day. I knew my poorly engineered Ford Explorer Sport had a severely diminished value. I asked that, knowing the issues with the vehicle, they work with me to wipe the loan clean and by doing so, I would buy a new vehicle. While working with Mark, I met Samuel Weinreb, one of the sales managers who was jovial and welcoming and he assured me they were going to go to work and earn my business. We test drove the vehicle I was interested in and I was assured they would work to meet me as close to my request as possible. The next day, I was greeted by Mark and we began finalizing details for the purchase of a 2024 Outback Wilderness Edition. Things were passed to the finance department and they were all professional and courteous. They agreed to take my broken hunk of Ford metal as a trade and provided an extremely fair deal to get me out of my existing loan. There was extra work on their part as we were dealing with an inferior and deficient Ford trade-in, an outside loan that had to be paid off, external financing that would send a check after the sales agreement was submitted and a backup contract loan in case my financing fell through. Mark walked me through all of the options and additions for my purchase, giving me a comprehensive rundown on function, cost and benefit. I was introduced to Rowan Sherman, who would be taking me through the final steps and signing. He walked me through all of the details on warranties, gap insurance and service options. I was able to make informed decisions to further protect and care for my new vehicle. The TVS team had my new vehicle waiting, fully detailed and topped off with fuel. All of this said, I fully believe it's the one week call back from Paul Finnigan for your Subaru Love-Encore visit that puts the bow on the entire experience. It is a 1:1 experience where you get a full introduction to the sophistications of your new vehicle. You can tell that Paul loves what he does and he's incredibly passionate and knowledgeable about what these vehicles are capable of. I consider myself fairly techy and had already worked through most of the surface level menus, options and settings. I also had some difficulty with CarPlay integration on my iPhone and I did have some questions about refining some of the options, Paul was able to quickly and efficiently guide me through them and agreed to dig a bit deeper on the issues that weren't presently resolved. He made sure all of my questions and concerns were addressed and taught me some really cool features that weren't immediately conspicuous. I told him I would henceforth refer to him as "The Professor" in a nod to his vast knowledge of the vehicle's intricacies. I also have future oil changes and service booked with the dealership which was an easy and painless process as well. If you've made it this far, it's obvious I lack brevity, but I go to these lengths to showcase how the whole dealership works together to make the process smooth and exciting for any new Subaru owner, whether it's your first time purchasing one or you're a lifelong Subaru driver. "This started as a daunting experience for me. I had never purchased a vehicle without having my husband with me. It started by texting with Ellie about the car I was interested in. She was very responsive and helpful. When I arrived first guy I ran into was Gino. Gino was knowledgeable, professional but most of all caring! He understood my situation and this car buying challenge. We went for a test drive. He explained all the features and answered all my questions. There may have been some football chat included. Next I met Jake, the money guy. Again he was professional and very helpful. He walked me through the purchasing process. Then it was off to Rowan the "sign here guy" He explained all the paperwork and answered all my questions. What started as an intimidating process ended up being a pleasant experience.
