Tates Rents - McCall

"Unfortunately my establishment, will never be using Tates equipment from this point on. Called in to get some answers and was hung up on for not holding. I was provided Poor customer service, and the lady I spoke with was rude. The rented item was not picked up in a timely fashion causing stress on the home owner. This item sat for several days causing concern for the GC. The equipment had trouble from the time it showed up on site. Over all experience was very sad and disappointing."

"I rented a gradeall from here and I was charged a $330.00 delivery fee after they called and said it’s only 2 miles down the road can I give the guy a ride back to his truck after he dropped it off. I asked them why would they charge me that and they said it would be adjusted and it wasn’t I got charged full delivery fee. For being 2 miles down the road and I’m sure they charged other guy delivery fee also. Very disappointed"

"Rented a power trowel that broke immediately. The owner and handyman verbally attacked me, accusing me of purposefully breaking it and asked if I would cancel the forklift rental I had scheduled for the next week. I declined to cancel the lift because I still needed it, so she waited a few days to call me and canceled our contract in favor of someone else who wanted the lift. I found a lift in Boise for the same price, including the price to transport it and I didn’t have to deal with the hostile staff and irregular business dealings of McCall rental."
