"Great parking for the Mt Spokane hike to the summit. Some people park for 2 cars in a space which is great. Some people are not that smart."
"Great place to bike or hike the Kit Carson Trail. Stay on the road all the way to the CCC Cabin 5 miles. Then take 140 up to the top/Vista House if you’re going all the way."
"Several parking spaces including pull-through spots for trailers. Good access to several different trails and the gravel road (not accessible by car) for hiking, mountain/snow biking, snowshoeing, snowmobiling, etc. Dogs are allowed on leashes. This is a good spot to put on chains, safely off of the road, in winter. When it is not full of cars, the steep slope above is popular for sledding down and for snowmobiles."
"Went here for a WTA trail work day. Large lot with plenty of spaces. Easy trail access. Make sure you have a discovery pass or stop at the rangers station to pay for a day pass."
