"How would you even know if this is a good salon or not? Getting ahold of them is not even possible! It is a cell phone number to call….they never answer and the mailbox is full. You can text the number without a response as well. It’s definitely no way to run a good business!! The one time I did get my dog into her when you pick up your pet you get to hear her whine and complain about how overwhelmed she is the entire time you pay and pick up. Not professional"
"Horrible!! This place let my dog (my baby) get out. She was lost in the wood's for 3 days. The owner never came to help look her. This is how I found her three days later. Skinned and cut up. They are negligent and all the owner Denise Swientek has done is play the victim. This is how my baby looked before going to Barkingham Palace and that's how she came home. I can't rate them at all."
"Took both my dogs here; they left my aussie covered in mattes and he wasn’t even blow dried when pick up. My malamute was SHAVED and they CUT HIM UP!!!!!!I told them I’d come pick up but that wasn’t an option. If you don’t have proper employees to help, don’t say you’ll be able to do the job. Dropped them off at 8am and didn’t get to pick them up until 600PM!!!! Sat in the waiting area for over an hour. Will never EVEREVER go back, try brookside Barkery!!"
"I took my dog to be groomed for her scheduled appointment at 10 am and I called around 3:30 pm to check on the status because I had heard nothing from them. The phone went voicemail multiple times, so I decided to drive to the salon to get information because I had evening plans and it said they closed at 4:00. When I arrived it was clear the groomer was about to lose it. She went on and on how she had 16 grooms that day, hadn’t eaten or taken a break. She kept showing me her appointment book, like I booked all those grooming appointments. I said I understand, but how much longer do you expect to have my dog? She went to the back of the salon and they decided it would be 30 another minutes. I came back in 30 minutes and they were so trilled to let me know my dog was done, except when they opened the door they walked with out a large dog that wasn’t mine. I told them it wasn’t my dog and they didn’t even know who my dog was. It was a complete cluster in that place. When they did finally find my dog she hadn’t even been cut - 6 hour after arrival. I would not recommend this place to anyone."
"I scheduled my cat's first visit for a Saturday but threw out my back and had to reschedule for the following Tuesday. On Tuesday, I called to tell them I was on my way but was going to be a few minutes late because my mama cat is particularly hard to catch. They said, "What?! You have an appointment?!" Apparently, the only groomer who does cats didn't bother to show up for work that day. So, my Tuesday appointment got rescheduled for Thursday, an appointment that went off without a hitch. At that same Thursday appointment, I made one for my grandcat for Saturday at 9:30. I arrived promptly at 9:30 and was told by a seemingly harried staff member that the (one and only) cat groomer had not arrived. When asked whether I could pick up Buddha in an hour, I was told that they had no idea when the cat groomer would be there, but I would receive a call as soon as Buddha was ready. THREE hours later I had not heard from them, so called to find out whether my cat was ready. By the woman's response, I could tell my cat had been ready for some time and no one had seen fit to notify me. Cats don't do well surrounded by dogs (something groomers know), and most grooming facilities are populated by dogs. My normally vociferous cat (who howled all the way to the groomer) sank to the back of the carrier and never uttered a sound all the way home. When I unlocked the carrier door at home, my baby crawled under my bed and wrapped himself up in the corners of my bed quilt. He was clearly traumatized. So, recommend this place? Hell, no."
