"Got charged $250 for something fully covered by my insurance. When I called to ask questions no one was available and I only received calls back in the middle of the work day. Eventually they threatened to send me to collections with no contact made about my insurance and figured it would be better to just eat the $250, never using these guys again its not worth it find another Anesthesiologist."
"I just received an invoice from Western Anesthesiology Associates for $250. My insurance fully covers preventative procedures but Western Anesthesiology Associates refused to get a pre-authorization for my anesthesia. My insurance company just called them and the agent reported that Western Anesthesiology Associates also refused to issue a retro-authorization. I have initiated an appeal with my insurance company, but my advice is to ask your provider (in my case, Mercy) who they partner with on anesthesia services. If it's Western Anesthesiology Associates, stay away!"
"Those who perform the anesthesiology work are great at their job. Unfortunately, their bill communication is poor. I never got an suitable reason why my bills went through separately from a different payment site then the last time I used them. In a day where people can get scammed into paying for unnecessary items, it's hard to tell that these communications aren't that."
"Over a month ago I spoke to Bridget and had a very lengthy call she promised to call me back that day. I didn’t sense that she was telling me the truth and because the call was recorded I had her state again that she would call me back that day or the end of the business week which was April 5. In the meantime she was going to talk to an admin about the payment arrangement. I kept my phone with me and Bridget failed to keep her promise she didn’t call me back that day or end of the business week and didn’t even call me back at all. In fact she also lied making the payment arrangements. I called back in today because of the light and I spoke to a supervisor he was extremely rude and disconnected me so I will not pay this company a penny. I am refused to pay rude people or liars"
"Hidden charges began to appear on my credit report. I have communicated via phone and email with no response from the emails. When you get past the receptionist the staff goes down hill. I was proactive in submitting paperwork from the hospital and still yet no response. Two employees in particular made it feel as though as having a conversation was a burden and unyielding to help."
