"I always try the special lotus, and their coffee always good and wakes me up. The baristas there are very friendly, always knows exactly what i would like. The price is perfect."
"Baristas had great energy, and sense of humor. Got all 5 of our drinks prepared quickly and right. Made us smile this morning. Made a great impression on our kids who said “those girls were fun”"
"This is a long post but I just really felt compelled to share my experience. Just a PSA: Legal addiction coffee stand in the rosauers parking lot off 29th…. Ooof. The owner is not a great human. I’ll elaborate on my experiences and let you decide if you’d like to support them. One day I didn’t have enough cash, or money in my bank account to be able to pay with a card. I had to pay in quarters and dimes for a couple of coffee drinks for my partner and I. I apologized profusely for being an inconvenience having to pay in all change. I was very embarrassed that I didn’t have enough cash on me, and not enough money in my bank account to use my debit card. I was met with “oh it’s alright, money all spends the same” So, I felt comforted. So I thought. I took my partner his coffee surprise and went on about my day. When I went to pick him up from work we were talking about our day and I told him how I had to pay in all change for our coffee drinks but felt it was worth it since we were deserving of something nice (things had been kind of rough, you know?) he told me that the owner (she identified herself as the coffee stand owner) came in and asked if that coffee was from her stand. Then continued to talk about how she had just had a customer who had to pay in all change, and how we are the worst kind of customers. To my partner (Coincidentally) She also tried to give him advice on how to do his job while he was on the phone with another customer because she seemed to feel she was more knowledgeable than he was in this area (even though he’s well versed and had it under control) On another day, I had shown up about half an hour from closing or so, and wanted to order a blended drink. She told me I couldn’t because the blender was cleaned for the night and she couldn’t get it dirty again. I’m not a barista, I don’t know everything that goes into closing down a coffee shop, but rinsing out a blender one more time really didn’t feel like it was THAT big of a deal, to me. On top of that, the owner really isn’t a great barista. She has never prepared me a drink that I liked (I order the same thing 99% of the time and the rest of the baristas were always great and prepared the drinks well.) These are just my experiences. They’ve left a bitter taste in my mouth and I will no longer personally support them. In my opinion, it feels like the owner thinks a little too highly of herself and it shows, and she doesn’t treat her customers with dignity and respect."
"Friendly service however very inconsistent with drinks. When ordering a 32oz about half the time you get 24oz drink in the 32oz cup. Either filled up with foam or just shorting milk because they're too busy to steam more. Very frustrating when the coffee is good and want to support local. Honesty and quality can make or break a business!"
"Prompt friendly service. Great prices. Had a dirty chai w/ oat milk & a ham and cheese bagel. Chai was not stirred all the way so the drink’s flavor was very off. Will try this place again tho."
