"Surprisingly fast and it has some of the best theming in a park with amazing theming. Don’t understand people complaining about the roughness. It’s a wooden coaster. Of course it is going to be a little rough."
"An excellent starter coaster for kids and adults who aren't ready to go too fast, too high, or upside down. The line usually isn't very long, and there are seats and restrooms right by the exit. Though it isn't intense, the ride can be pretty bumpy!"
"I like Silver Dollar City, but this is an awful ride. It's by far the most uncomfortable coaster that I've ridden, and I don't understand how anyone can legitimately enjoy the ride. This is basically a torture device, and it will make you wish that you were riding coasters at Dollywood instead of SDC."
"We went to Silverdollar city on a Tuesday. We flew into Branson from Naples, Florida Silverdollar city was so much fun. I took my 15, 13 and 10-year-old. It was the perfect ages to take all of the kids because they could ride everything at the park. Honestly, even if your kids aren’t tall enough to ride everything, the park has so many rides that are age friendly there is something for everyone to do, I believe that this is why the park is so highly rated. It is extremely family friendly. Thunderation was so much fun. My kids loved it and so did my mom who is almost 70 years old. It was a little bit of a rough ride, but Totally worth it. The kids were screaming with excitement but at the same time not too scared. The line was short, which I had heard was common for a Tuesday. I actually chose to go on a Tuesday because I had heard lines would not be long. We had purchased trailblazer passes just in case, but I wish I would’ve skipped them because we could’ve gotten through all of the rides without ever having to use them. Live and learn! I highly recommend Silverdollar city. There are tons of things to do in Branson and your kids will want to try everything especially when they see the smaller roller coasters and Ferris wheel and other things along the strip but make sure that you try Silverdollar city because it’s way better than the other smaller options."
"You might walk up to this ride and think, “oh I’ll start with this little kiddie mine train ride.” Do not underestimate the intensity of this ride. This mine train has a fast-paced first half that is very agressive. You will get beat up pretty bad in the back so be prepared. You can breathe easy once you hit the lift hill as it’s a smooth ride into the station. The theming is cool in the mine tunnels leading up to the station."
