"This was a great swimming hole. We swam here all summer .we went on weekdays and it was usually pretty empty. The water by the stairs was around 10 feet. in som places 20. I am 5foot 9 and had trouble finding the bottom in some places. I personally don't recommend diving by the stairs as there's rocks there that put me in the hospital."
