"My experience with Dr. Stilwell was very negative. I had suffered an anaphylactic reaction to one of the oncology drugs I was given for colon cancer at another hospital. The other doctor was able to give it to me again by titrating the drug over a number of hours with additional medication. Dr. Stilwell received all of my records from the other doctor and apparently didn't read them and didn't contact the other doctor . I explained to both him and the pharmacist that my understanding was that I was allergic to the drug (I reacted to it with anaphylaxis on my second round of chemo ) and that it had to be titrated and given to me over an extended amount of time. He refused to do that and I went into anaphylaxis again and this time was hospitalized for 2 days. That said, the facility and nursing staff were great but I would not recommend that anyone see this doctor."
