"BEWARE: This company told me a repair was going to cost $600 and then as they began working they kept increasing the cost for additional parts. When the bill came every amount they quoted was doubled because they said they needed two of everything. So the original price of $600 became $1200 and so on. In the end I ended up paying $1700 to replace the springs on my garage door. Overhead Door was at my house a few days later for an unrelated issue and told me that new springs should have only cost $400. I tried to get them to reduce the charges and when I spoke to the company’s representative he admitted that I could practically gotten a new garage door for that price but yet the company refused to reduce the price. Do not use this company."

"The service was quick and responsive. However, the amount Golden charged me, was way out of line with the market. In total for springs and motor, they charged $3320. Retail, the motor installed is ~$150, yet they charged $1399. For two springs, that another company charges ~$380 for, Golden charged $1440. When asked about the price, the technician said they charge was the same as all companies. However, after comparison, another local company, that is a more established brand charged ~75% less. I would never use this company again. Go with someone that can do the same work for 1/4 of the cost."
