Counseling and Assessment for Behavioral Health, Inc
About the Business
Counseling and Assessment for Behavioral Health, Inc. is a private therapy and psychological assessment practice located at 745 Craig Road in St. Louis, Missouri. Founded in 2003 by director and owner Catherine B. Hasler, Ph.D., CABH specializes in the differential diagnosis and treatment of children, teens, adults, and families with a variety of presenting concerns. The therapists at CABH use a combination of cognitive-behavioral, family systems, and interpersonal approaches to help clients achieve their mental health goals. Parents are considered a key component to the mental health of their children, and are encouraged to participate in therapy to support their child's progress or make changes in their own parenting. Therapists at CABH are available to work with children aged four and above, and at times unlicensed therapists under the supervision of Dr. Hasler can provide lower cost therapy options for families in need. Dr. Hasler is licensed in Missouri and has an Authority to Practice Interjurisdictional Telepsychology, allowing her to provide services in states participating in PSYPACT.

Reviews
"Dr. Hasler is comprehensive, thorough, and responsive. I respect her as a colleague and trust her input as a mental health professional in a variety of cases. In addition to being extremely knowledgeable in her field, Dr. Hasler is also kind and enjoyable to work with."
"A dedicated, smart, caring, intuitive professional, Dr. Hasler is a pleasure to deal with as a professional and a valued teammate on the cases I've shared with her. Her skill in dealing with difficult situations and challenging clients is always evident."
"I have referred people to Dr. Hasler for many years and I am impressed with her skills and insight. I highly recommend her professional services."
"Previous review was removed. Dr halser was extremely biased towards the mom. Dr hasler wouldn’t provide detailed billing information when asked I had to ask repeatedly. Dr hasler seemed to play a game with the gal recommendation, she wanted to play mediator and not counselor and threaten me with a bad review to the gal if I didn’t agree. I do not think she should be involved with the family courts . I’d give a negative star review if google would let me."
"My son’s condition has gotten worse after requesting an appropriate intervention three years ago, None of my input was used in my son’s evaluation when I had joint custody and still none of my input has been valued after my son’s Mom took full custody without having a hearing where I could present any evidence. I filled out assessments supplied by Dr. Hasler. The testimony used to help my son’s Mom take full custody cited not cooperating with Dr. Hasler. I did not authorize the input of unauthorized providers into my son’s evaluation since they were chosen, paid, and retained by my son’s Mom when we had joint custody. Missouri SB35 was put into law for a reason. Children who have fathers active in their lives perform better at school, with friends, and in the community. That is of course unless you can prove otherwise by hiring attorneys who work for the St. Louis county court. Gender shouldn’t play a role in whose input matters most. If we are really serious about mental health, let’s not use it as a weapon for custody disputes. They have third party mediation, coparenting counseling, and family counseling for a reason. I would like to see the Cash for Kids era end."
