"This is a great dojo all the way around. Sensei Neil Segal is a great instructor. The dojo is a very positive environment, everyone in the dojo is very respectful and kind. If you want to learn a martial art, make friends and have fun doing it, this is definitely the place to go."
"Great place to train, instructor is very dedicated to his art."
"A beautiful dojo with amazing staff. This is a great place to learn self defense and how to be a better person! :) Love training here and Neil Sensei is the real deal!"
"I was thrilled to see tatami, Japanese flooring made by grass, in the middle of US. No. I'm not sensei, nor students for martial arts, but I've been teaching Japanese language since spring 2023 here. This place offers Taiko, Japanese drum, class as well. When you see "-do" at the end of Japanese words, it often includes manner, inner focus, mental strength, spirit, philosophy, respect, humility beyond sports and technics: Kado(flower arrangement), Sado(tea ceremony), Kyudo(Archery), Kendo( martial arts with bamboo sword), Jyudo(Japanese wrestling), Shodo(calligraphy),, etc. Aikijuku preserve well Japanese traditional martial arts, performing and fine arts."
"It can be hard to explain the experience of Aikido in so many words. With the expert teaching of Neil Segal who has a long legacy in the martial art, every training session transports you into a focused experience of connection and reflection. In my short time at Aikijuku Dojo, my strength, perception, and flexibility have greatly increased. It's been wonderful to explore the pacifistic and protective nature of engaging with an attacker in a way I didn't know I could. My 6 month experience with their community and practitioners could not have been more positive."
