"Back in January, I said my final goodbye to my precious boy, Jude. He was my childhood pet, and the first cat I had the pleasure of calling my own. He brought glorious technicolor to my life. His endless love could be felt by everyone that met him. Jude had many health issues in his last years of life, and although I think I may have waited too long to say my goodbye, it was the hardest decision I’ve ever had to make. While calling around to see what places offered and how the process went, the front desk ladies at Blue Pearl gave me nothing but reassurance on bringing him there. I wanted to spend as much time with him before taking him in, and they were more than ready to help me when I showed up close to 10pm. They walked me through the entire process, allowing me to spend time with him and press a button when I felt ready. I was able to listen to music during the process, and they also allowed me to spend time with him afterwards. I still miss him to this day, but I have so much gratitude and feel so grateful that I took him somewhere where everyone handled the situation with compassion and kindness. Losing a pet is always hard, but the way you lose them doesn’t always have to be a terrible experience through and through. For how sweet of a boy he was, he deserved the most peaceful and loving send off, and Blue Pearl provided that. I will never forget that team and everything they did for me that night. "I have always been impressed with my visits here despite the high cost of pet care. An emergency vet like this is so necessary when people have a problem after hours and especially if they can't handle taking care of their pet on their own due to the severity of the problem or due to having to take care of a family member as well. I greatly appreciate the professionalism of the staff and their kindness. I always try to give a good review where one is deserved because a lot of times people make complaints only. These kinds of expert services are outstanding and highly recommended when you need acute care. I would recommend Blue Pearl to anyone who needs emergency care for their pet and I hope that I don't have to go there too often in the future, but if I do, I'll feel like I'm in good hands."

"On 1/25/24 we rushed our 16 year old beagle to blue pearl as he had not been eating and began seizing as soon as we walked in the door the staff saw our sweet boy having another seizure and immediately took him from our arms and rushed him back, we were eventually taken back to a room to speak with the dr who advised us that Stewart was very ill and had a brain tumor and ultimately advised us that it was time for him to cross the rainbow bridge, we were absolutely devastated and heartbroken but the staff brought our baby in the room on a stretcher so that my children and I could say our goodbyes and told us to take all the time we needed and to let them know when we were ready for them to come back in! The dr was fantastic and allowed us to stay with him through the entire process and walked us through everything that she was doing! Stewart passed very quickly and staff still let us take as long as we needed! Thank you for making such a devastating and traumatic loss as painless as possible and for taking the very best care of our boy!"

"I trust BluePearl Overland Park with my babies, completely. From the ER to the cardiologist. There have been several times when I have called with an issue and was encouraged not to come in as it was not necessary. I have even shown up with my dog and they told me it was not necessary for me to see a doctor. They easily could have taken my money and taken advantage of the situation and my distress but they worked with integrity. This is why I continue to take my babies there, I trust their word and know they will get the best care, when needed."
