"I have used for Chenal for a very long time because I just haven’t had the time to find another provider. My psychiatrist is at least 20 minutes late to every appointment I’ve ever had with her. She talks down to me and makes me feel like I’m doing something wrong when she doesn’t like my answers to her questions (things with my relationships, family issues, etc.). I missed my last appointment and forgot to reschedule. I only remembered when I tried to get my medicine and I was out of refills. My pharmacist called my provider, but was denied the request to get a refill until my next appointment. I sent five emails over three days trying to schedule an appointment with one response after the first email. After the first response, I got no other communication until four days later. It had been almost a week without a refill on my medicine, which causes serious withdrawals. My provider is incredibly hard to get ahold of and they have a different person to contact for scheduling, medicine, and more. Communication is terrible and it is so unorganized."
"Absolutely do not recommend this clinic. I was referred to this clinic by my current clinic due to a provider shortage. I received a call from Chenal to schedule with a provider but was informed that this provider, who I have never met or spoken with, wants to "taper me off of an ADHD med completely". They would not give me a reason apart from it being "her medical opinion". I have been on this medication for SIX YEARS. Six. Years. This doctor seems to have an issue with this medication which is a major red flag; do not waste your time with a provider who is not open to all treatment options and is not willing to allow their patients to have a say in their treatment. This clinic is a JOKE. Find a provider ANYWHERE else."
"The therapist I've seen is absolutely wonderful. I unfortunately had to reschedule a medication zoom appointment due to financial reasons. I called 24 hours in advance ( the website states they need 24 hours or you'll be charged $75 ). When I called I was told I have to give 48 hours notice and they're going to charge my card on file $300. My appointment was $250. I explained the information I read on the website and this new nugget of information were very different and this was going to really hurt me but the response I got was billing should call you within a couple of hours. Billing called and made payment arrangements. He was nice but couldn't offer any real help. I needed this appointment and just needed to reschedule for a couple of weeks. Long story short, if you need mental health care and are financially strapped or don't have great insurance you may be dealing with something like this as well."
"Several years indecision to see a therapist. Couldn't bare anymore and asked.for one. Making my first appointment over the phone and being told they have to have my credit card on file in order to make an appointment and in case I will cancel to charge a fee. I said I'm in no position not to show up after all these years. Person on the phone kept insisting on having my card info. IF U NOT WILLING TO TRUST YOUR PATIENTS WHO'S NEEDING HELP, how could your patient (especially new one) trust you, let you in their head!!!! I haven't seen you yet, you haven't even started helping me - but you already showing mistrust and want my money for it. Disgusting really!"
